Anyone else planning to do The Great Race to Rewards?

We have our route planned out & reservations made for the road trip.

We have our 6 destinations all booked and ready to go.

Of course it includes Las Vegas, Laughlin and Ak-chin
as our first 3. Then off to Rincon, Lake Tahoe and Reno
for the other 3.

That will give each of us $600 in comps to use at any Harrah's.

We're hitting all the ones here in the mid-west and south that are close. Kansas City, Council Bluffs, Tunica, Illinios, St. Louis.

Question on the 60,000 points. Has anyone used their points for the airfare credits. I saw you can exchange them in 20,000 point increments for $100 of credit. I was wondering how long the credits are good for and what all airlines they work with.

We figured 40k for $200 in air would get us to Vegas and we'd still have $200 in comps a piece.

I'm curious to see what the 20 destinations are though.....hopefully I haven't book all of these and not be one of the 20.

I did see a list at Ak-chin, but don't remember what they were.
Just that all of Las Vegas is considered one destination, Laughlin is
one and Reno and Lake Tahoe are each one destination even though
they are only 50-60 miles apart.
Your choices should be good.

Just as an FYI , you must opt in either at a special kiosk or at the
Total Rewards desk. Also you are required to earn at least one
base point. You do not have to stay at the hotel, you can just stop in.

Can't answer your question on exchanging points for air fare.

When does this start?

You visit the 6 separate destinations from July 1st-Sept 30th.
The rewards points will be added to your account on Oct 30th (31st?)

I followed the link in the first post for more info, but I need the list of casinos. Can anyone help? Is this offer open to anyone, or just by special invite?

The only place I've seen the list was to ask at

the Total Rewards desk at Ak-chin, Phoenix.

Maybe they will publish it later, but at this point you

have to ask at some Total Rewards desk.

Wow thanks for the info. I would love a list of hotels if anyone finds one. I will have to check my TR account today and see if any more info.
edited to add. I went on CET web and the only casino offering any info in it is the Rincon. I tried a dozen different casinos with no luck.

I am doing a big road trip in August/September so I should be able to visit a few so very interested.
