Anyone else planning to do The Great Race to Rewards?

Loved your TR! That's a lot to do in a short time! I take it you're usually not a big CET player since you didn't talk about comping meals or rooms.

Us old folks are doing ours a little slower with some comped rooms and meals. Obviously, we will be playing more as well and adding some extras.

I can't believe that Metropolis has no VP! Thanks for the tips on where the best gas prices are.

Thank you for your kind words. To say I'm not a big CZR player is an understatement.

I wouldn't go so far as to say Metropolis has no VP. I do know that I couldn't find it on the level I was on, which is unusual in itself. They might hide them on another level, near the poker room (which I also didn't find, though I wasn't looking for it).

I'd better give an assist to gasbuddy.com on the gas prices. That was a helpful guide for me.
VPFree2 lists a DDB 5-way progressive as the only somewhat playable game, 95.71%. Ugg! I don't usually play that game. We might give it a little shot, ya never know. I played terrible payscales at Presque Isle and got both deuces & a royal which made it a great play, lol!

Actually, we have decided to spend the night on Wednesday at Metropolis and then go to Bowling Green, KY to the Corvette Factory & Museum Thurs. morning, then head to Horseshoe Indiana. They supposedly have 10X points at Metropolis on Wed. according to CET's website. St. Louis also has a lottery ticket promo going on as well.

I'll have to check out gasbuddy.com. Thank you.

Metropolis has VP on the second level at one end of the floor. Can't remember what the pay tables are, but they at least have machines.
Does anyone out there know, or have asked TR what "Promotional" Bonus Reward Credits are?

I believe that they give that notation so that you can't use them to convert to cash....

We flew on Southwest Airlines from Dallas to Kansas City. Swiped and played. Ate lunch at Arthur Bryant's BBQ.

Then we rented a Cadillac DTS and drove to St. Louis. Swiped and played, stayed in the hotel, ate in the Diamond room (where you actually order from a menu!).

From St. Louis we flew to Las Vegas, played in the Slot tournament at the Rio (won $100 + $75). Then we blew off our planned trip to Laughlin (just didn't want to go).

Now we are back in Dallas, but plan to drive over to Shreveport before the promo ends.

Finished my Great Race this Week with a quick Atlantic City Trip while I was in the Area. I am now looking forward to getting my 60000 points.
I sure hope this works the way it's suppose to a lot of effort but should be worth it when the points get added.
Just finished our trip this week. We already had done Las Vegas and Laughlin. We were at Southern Indiana on Tuesday, Metropolis on Wednesday and St. Louis on Thursday. Finished up at Hammond last night although we had already been there. It was a great trip as all rooms and food were free except in Hammond and it was also a winning trip. We had a free show last night so we added it on at the last minute. Hammond was packed. You could almost not find a machine to play and couldn't be picky.

Southern Indiana was really empty and the slowest we have ever seen them and we had been there on a Tuesday many times before. The free drinks night in the Diamond Lounge wasn't even that busy. It must be because of the bridge closing in Louisville.

Looking forward to getting the points on our cards next month.(You could swipe your card at all the casinos we went to except Planet Hollywood and Horseshoe Hammond. There you actually had to go to the Total Rewards desk and have a person add your name. We were afraid to take a chance that being signed in online signed you on everywhere as long as you played with your card in the machine.)
when will we see the points? I am still worried we will never see these points or our offers will go down until the points are gone. Next time, if there is one, you should have to earn 100 to 300 points at each place and that would be a bargain!!!!

I think they said that it would be around Oct 31 that the points are posted. I sure hope so, as I have a Vegas trip in mid-Nov.

I doubt we will see another promo of this type - CET really did not get behind it IMO. Hard to find information on it, even in most casinos, and alot of confusion by their staff.
