Anyone else planning to do The Great Race to Rewards?

Sorry to say that Harrahs Joliet and Hammond Horseshoe are "partners" in this promotion, just like all of the casinos in LV. Check Harrahs Joliet website for the list of participating venues.

Joliet to Hammond, considering contruction near Joliet on I80, would take about an hour, maybe a wee bit less if traffic cooperates. I'd gladly endure the construction if it counted separately.

Does anybody know if Ceasers Las Vegas hotels have kiosks or do you have to have your card swiped at the players club?
For me,other than Caesars Windsor the next closest is 300 miles away, 600 round trip. 30 miles per gallon equals 20 gallons=$80. Unless you are going to Vegas and are near to a couple of others, the cost to getting there negates your gained comps. At Caesars Windsor if I go all 5 Sundays in July I get 25 times comps. That alone should net me 600 in comps, so I will be staying near home. Good luck to getting what you need.

I didn't see any during the last week of June.


Update: We visited Horseshoe Hammond today and there were absulutely no signs or any other type of ads regarding this promotion. There was no kiosk, either. They are running their own sweepstakes which expires the end of July.

Sooooo, we went to the Total Rewards desk, toting along the email printout just in case. The clerk happily swiped both of our cards are checking photo ids.

I also sent an email to Horseshoe So. In. They replied that is is a company wide promotion and that the KIOSKS are all set up there. The bottom line, then, is that each property will have its own set up and procedures.

Thanks Teach I hope someone can fill give us check in info at the rest of the properties. I am looking at Windsor and still no info.
went to chester pa yesterday-----tr rep had no clue----did go back and found the write -up-----said he would call to get more info-----gave him my phone # and diamond card number as well as my wifes----called me back 3 hours later-----said he was able to get us into the system and thanked me for bringing it to his attention----no kiosk in chester

later drove to showboat in ac-----tr personnel had no clue even though there was a kiosk set up on the floor for this purpose-----so i swiped both cards but could not see if it took----tr rep said i should call their promo rep and leave a message which i did------got a call back 2 hrs later,confirmed i was in their system

no one ever mentioned doing it just once or at every property-----just noticed this aspect today----guess to be on the safe side would sign in at each---

OK, since there has been really no definitive answer to whether or not we need to swipe or enter online just once or not, I contacted Total Reward via email earlier ask just that. I told them that we were all receiving conflicting information and that some TR center had no idea what we were talking about. This is the reply I received. I looks like once you are in the system your good.

OK, I cannot believe all we have to do is swipe our TR cards in a kiosk to enter for each location. Surely Caesars is smarter than that.
