Anyone else planning to do The Great Race to Rewards?

Nope, nothing new now that it's up and running again........we'll be in St. Louis, KC and Council Bluffs next week. I'll post what I find at those locations.
I have no clue how they figure their tier credits. How much/long would you have to play to earn one tier credit and would playing a small amount hurt future comp offers?
Has anyone won the instant win game and if you won what did you win?

Hi Sharper, Welcome to the boards.

To earn 1 point or base tier credit, coin in is as follows.
For slots, each $5 coin in equals 1 point. For video poker, each $10 coin in equals 1 point.

Daily average seems to rule at CET properties. Playing a small amount could hurt future comp offers. Having said that, I've gotten to a point where I no longer obsess over my daily average. My play is what it is and my offers will be what they will be. If I usually average 400 points and have 1 day at 50 points, que sera sera. I'm not going to go broke just to maintain a higher average in hopes that I get better offers.

I was at Joliet last night and Total Rewards said you need to swipe at each location.
Vegas28 - Do you have to show ID at each location? I would think you would have to.

Just returned from Harrah's NOLA - No ID required. Just swipe card at kiosk.

I even talked to a couple of hosts about the possibility of this promotion being abused with no ID required. They were clueless about how that might happen. uh, US mail?

Having been a Diamond player since the conception of Total Rewards (1999?), this fits the mold of one of their many not-so-well-thought-out promotions. Be prepared for cancellation/modification of the promotion at anytime - according to Rule # 8 under "Terms and Conditions":

8. If for any reason the offer is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes within or beyond the control of Caesars which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Offer, Caesars reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Offer.

Laissez les bons temps rouler
Dave OKC - I did not have to show a ID but I was talking to her and maybe she got distracted? haha. I'm going again tonite w/my sister who lives out of town and I'm having her enter it and we'll see if they ask for her ID.
At Rio this past weekend--swipe at the TR Desk. They have it located on the end closest to the Keno or the Diamond/7 Stars end. Just a computer screen with a swiper thingy. You can do it yourself--no waiting. After you swipe--it says something like: I point earned. Hubby and I both swiped. Then we played after swiping on both cards to be sure. . . . .
