Anyone else planning to do The Great Race to Rewards?

I just goy back from Tunica, New Orleans and Bilioxi and they all had Kiosk that you swipe your own card. I talk to four different people at the Total rewards booths
and 2 said you had to swipe at every casino and 2 said one swipe and good for all. So seems no one is really sure even the Total rewards people. I guess I will swipe
just to be sure but it is sort of sad they are running this big promo and everyone that works there either is clueless or just has not been informed. I told several people
about it and they all went and signed up and all said no had a clue any info. I am keeping up with days I play along with casino and what machine. I have a strange
feeling at the end of this promo I am going to have to challenge them to get my points.
I was just told Joliet as of Saturday has no kiosk and you need to visit TR to opt in for the Great Race (road trip). Then you can earn the points at that casino.

So some have kisoks and some do not apparently.

Was at Metropolis and had to do it at the TR booth.

I haven't seen tracking on the CET website of the number of locations visited, which sure would be handy. Has anyone found any tracking info?
Tracking Info would be a PLUS. That way it also Confirms youre IN the program, and Where you
qualified at!!!

Think about how many people will be complaining after this is over.........when they run into the
"looks like you qualified for only 2 properties, NOT 3 like you thought"

I can hear it now........

I thought you could earn Reward Credits thru purchases or dining at Harrah's locations? It might be easy to go buy a shot glass at the gift shop or a lunch while visiting a destination, pay with a credit card and hang on to the receipt.

Went to Caesars Windsor today and they had one kiosk dedicated for this offer. I swiped and a acknowledgment that I swiped was shown on the screen. No other information was given.
The same day I played at Harrah's Metropolis, I also went to Horseshoe Southern Indiana (yes, this is why my offers suck, I don't play/stay in one place very long). Anyway, when I swiped at the kiosk at HSI, it said I had accumulated one entry. I stayed at HSI for the night, so I swiped again the next day just to see what it said, and it still showed one entry. I would have preferred it showed two entries (one for Metropolis and one for HSI) but the kiosk is probably (hopefully) only tied to the one property and not into a network that would show the total of all visits.
anybody know of a reliable, cheap bus from downtown LV to Laughlin? hoping to get the Laughlin credit in the race but have no car on my next trip.

That's one link I found for a bus tour of Laughlin. I think there are several others.
We are doing the Great Race thing. We are arriving in LV on a weekend (early), renting a car from Hertz and driving right to Laughlin from the rental car place. We will stay for a few hours or so and drive back to LV to checkin to our hotel.

We are keeping the car for two days and the TOTAL cost is only $67 (plus gas of course) for an Intermediate. Plus we are turning the car in on the Strip (Paris or one of many other locations). When you consider that we are saving the taxi cost from the airport to our hotel (at least $25), the cost and hassle and time of a bus ride to Laughlin plus we get the use of the car for two days, this is a bargain IMO.
