Anyone using that TR Fuel rewards yet? What is the largest discount you can use each time you put gas in the vehicle?

(10 cent/gallon discount, 20 cent/gallon discount, 30 cent/gallon discount or ?)

I signed up for this after I read that your total rewards credits aren't used. I was trying to figure out if I can use more than 10 cents/gallon discount at a time when I put gas in the car.

My Vons grocery fuel deal with Chevron allows me to use up to 20 cents/gallon discount each time I fill up the car if I have the required number of points.

I was also hoping that Ralphs(Krogers) was on the Fuel Rewards Newwork, but it is not one of the grocery stores listed. There are not any of those listed grocery stores in my area. Ralphs in southern calif also has a similar deal with Shell stations.

If I understood correctly, it's 10 cents a gallon at a time up to 4 or 5 times a month. My neighborhood Safeway has a better program. Plus, there's a group of stations about a mile from my home that are very competitive and have some of the lowest gas prices in the greater Phoenix area. My neighborhood Safeway is part of that group. The only Shell stations fairly close by prices are 10 to 20 cents/gallon higher. I've crossed this promotion off my list.

Thanks Lisa, that's the way I thought it worked. I'll just stay with my Von's deal, I shop there anyway. Since they just opened a new Shell station near my house and the prices are close to the lowest I might use the 10Cent/gallon discount if I'm out of my Vons fuel credits.

We put our fuel purchases on a credit card for tracking purposes and I used to pay a couple of cents extra per gallon at the Mobil station near our house. It was always easy to get in an get gas as they have many gas pumps. Then they started charging 5 to 8 cents a gallon more for using a credit card. Haven't been tempted to go there again.

I just used mine today and got 20 cents off per gallon. I am not exactly sure how it works.

I currently have 40 cents off per gallon based on my Total Rewards play. You get the entire amount off when you swipe your Fuel Rewards card at the pump.

The 40c/gallon is good for up to 20 gallons, so that would be an $8.00 savings if I had a 20 gallon tank.

Ok, that's better than my Von's/Chevron setup. They have a max of 20 cents off per gallon.

I sent an email to CET asking if the Shell station at Rincon participates in this program as the Fuel Reward Network maps don't show that gas station as a participant. I also sent an email to the Fuel Reward Network asking the same question.

CET western region c/s said yes. Fuel Reward Network said no participating Shell station within 50 miles of Harrahs Rincon. Guess I'll ask when I get there.

That's great. If you look at the Fuel Network rewards website they have people who end up paying $0.01 per gallon with all their rewards from the dining, grocery, etc. I was hoping that this was the same fuel network Ralphs grocery stores in Southern California use for their fuel rewards program. No, Ralphs(Krogers) not part of this fuel rewards program.
