Aria

Will be staying at Aria soon. I've seen the casino but the rest is a mystery. Anyone have some words of wisdom? Thank you so much!

Absolutely love this place! some are critical of it, but the pool complex is great! It's huge, and unlike places like Mirage and Mandalay Bay, you don't have to get up at the crack of dawn to try and get a seat. We routinely got there after 9 and got something poolside.

Food is good, gambling is ok, and the sports book is solid.

The rooms are VERY underrated. Customer service was great as well, and the valet service was fast.

If you can get a decent or comped rate, jump all over it.

We love this place too! In fact, we have purchased the pillows at the gift shop several times as gifts. These are the most comfortable beds and pillows we've ever had!
Since we drove and parked in the parking lot, it's a bit of a hike to the room, but it's still a great place to stay. And the pool is fabulous!!
No complaints from me. Very enjoyable property. Have fun.

I will be staying at the aria august 19th thru 23 do they have cabanas at the pool area ? the reason being I will be bringing my grandaughter and her girlfriend with us and they are both 21.
marioboy, if they are cute 21 year olds, they won't need a cabana.
Its a meatmarket out there. Go outside & you'll see for yourself.
Tons of boys & girls, and few old farts gathering, but mostly young people trolling.

I really like Aria HOTEL.

The thing I don't like is..... the smokey casino.

Heres the Flaw......... they have their Garbage receptical/Ashtrays, placed directly against
banks of machines!!!

If you are playing Vp? You are sitting next to a huge ashtray, basically.
With LOTS of Non-gamblers standing there, visiting, texting, using the ATM, and chain-smoking.
Very BAD planning.
They could easily MOVE them to Other places..........But Aria hasn't. Hate that.
reply to calif loves vegas, thanks for your response, I have now put a cabana on hold thru my casino host, as for the girls thery were part of their highschool prom court, they are very goodlooking, my granddaughter is in the air guard and as well as going to college. My wife and I are the old folks who want the shade and relaxation of the cabana, the girls don't, but it's their first time to vegas and from your comments I will need to chase the guys off if my wife and I want to relax. Also I have bought tickets to O for all of us. Do you or anyone else have any recommendations on another show they may like ? By the way should I change my reservation to the red rock for their safety, and maybe stay off the stript?
mario- they will be Safe at Aria. But weekends especially, the music is LOUD by the pool, and Lots
of "kids" 20-somethings, hanging out.

Also, the Spa/Salon VERY nice at Aria.
I would recommend the "foot rejunvenation" for you & your wife. Costs $60.
You will thank me later. lol
Book an appt. Salon is very closeby the pool area, and a nice break if you want to get
away from the music & "kids".

I just stayed at Aria with my wife in mid-June. We liked the room. It was well appointed and modern. The internet worked fine. The drapes are operated with a remote, which was nice. The water pressure in the shower was good and there were double sinks. We always seem to go to Todd English Pub, which is right next to Aria in City Center. We didn't gamble alot there because the minimum limits are usually a little above our comfort zone. I thought the check in and check out went smoothly even though they were pretty crowded both times. My biggest complaint is how difficult it is to get to the strip. Its not only a long walk, which I don't really mind, its just you have to walk through City Center to get to the strip. If you just walk out the front door of Aria, there is no good way to just walk to the strip. For the right price, I would stay here again. But I would avoid the buffet at least for breakfast - the food was very bland, the service was mediocre, and it was $1 more than Bellagio. Just take the tram to Bellagio. Enjoy your stay.
Comment about people standing around smoking by your machines at Aria is right on. I couldn't figure out why this kept happening there but ashtray placement is true. (At my local Iowa casino I often pick up the ashtrays from my machine and the ones on either side of me and hide them on the floor under my purse. Their housekeeping stuff must check for ashtrays every 30 minutes or so and they are always replacing my hidden stash. I had to make a deal with the housekeeper last time I was there!)
