Aria mini bar: $26 for bottle of water

No intelligent person said anything about a cocktaail waitress "visiting" a room - to repeat, ask and get water from a cocktail waitress when ordering a drink while playing video poker/slots AND then take the water to your room.

So if you're in your hotel room and want a bottle of water, you should get dressed, go down to the casino, put some money in a slot machine, start playing, wait for a cocktail waitress to show up, order a bottle of water from her, wait for her to return, tip her, cash out your machine, cash your slot ticket at the cage, then return to your room with your prized bottle of water?

Intelligent people obtain their water BEFORE going to their room - apparently this common sense action is too difficult for some to grasp...

Yep, I do this too.  No, Kevin, the CW doesn't deliver to the room.

It may take a little planning, as in 'I'm about ready to turn in for the night, so at the next round by the CW I'll order a water' (often they already have extras on their tray,no waiting).  Or maybe a glass of white zin or other cocktail, to compliment a snack already waiting for me in the room.  Be ready or close to ready to leave the machine or table...water is brought...CW is tipped...TITO or color up...on to the room.

CW doesn't care whether I'm going to the room or to the next table.

Wife and I bring our own water to have in the room, but a few times a night, I will order a beer and a water from the cocktail waitress.  Sometimes my wife will just put the water in her purse, and we'll come back to the room with two or three bottles, if we didn't drink them.

At the Westgate, where my wife is Diamond level, we'll just pop into the Diamond Check In area and they have water, tea and coffee, along with cookies and other pastries.  Heading to valet (Platinum and Diamond get the parking fee waived by getting it validated at the Diamond Check In), we'll grab a water or two.

I just go to the ABC store on Fremont and grab a few large bottles, or if a longer stay, hit up a grocery store and get essentials such as protein bars, snacks and water.  There is zero chance I'm ever buying water at $500 a gallon from the Casino.

I always go to a Walgreens or grocery store on day one  and pick up a 24 pack of waters.    If you dont live in the desert the dry air hits you like a bus  and you have to hydrate like crazy.     I've also learned to pack chapstick.   My lips are like raw meat by day 3 if I dont.

I dont know if your body adjusts to that if you live there...or if everyone in vegas is constantly drinking water and burning through chapstick.

Famously, in not only Vegas but also other desert cities such as Phoenix, most people are constantly in a state of mild dehydration. In order to stay properly hydrated, you can't wait until you're thirsty to drink water. But most folks, particularly recent arrivals, don't know that.

Together with heavy drinking and generally unhealthy lifestyles, this means that desert cities have high incidences of kidney disease and hypertension.
