Augustus Tower for 2 Nts+Moving More or 5 at Bally's+Less Moving

Which would you choose?

This is a ten-day trip that will necessarily involve some moving among hotels to have a continuously comped stay, but part of me really wants to limit the moves, which if I went that route means having 5 of my 10 nights at Bally's or possibly 4 at Paris. I usually only can book 5 nights in the Bally's South Tower but I've never not been automatically upgraded at check in to the North Tower and Bally's is fine.

Flip side is that I really like the idea of staying at Ceasars again and I can get 2 comped nights in the Augustus Tower, but that would of course mean moving around more. I could really enjoy the Caesars pool while there and Qua (though I'd have to pay for it) as I put a value on being able just to take an elevator ride to get from Qua to my room. But again, moving after just a couple of days I don't like!

Thanks in advance for any comments.

Edited to add: I haven't stayed at Caesars in at least 2 years, which is another reason why it's appealing to stay there for my birthday trip (though I can't get the comped room on my actual birthday).

I'm a big fan of the Augustus Tower, so you can guess my vote. I vote for the 2 nights at Caesars.
Thanks Lisa. I hear you. I keep going back and forth. Figuring out the CE stays, but skipping 3 days between them, makes this even harder to figure out!

This may seem a little crazy but I was also thinking about booking just one comped night at Augustus -- my night of arrival -- and then waking up the next morning (my actual birthday) in my Augustus Tower room. Would hit QUA right away for an early morning workout (I'd be on East Coast time so hitting Qua at 6/6:30 am I could easily do) and my favorite treatment, lounge by the pool a bit, and, if time, have a late breakfast at Mon Ami Gabi -- the blueberry french toast -- OMG that is a good breakfast/brunch -- before getting, I hope, a late check out. Would be a nice way to start out my birthday. Unfortunately, my birthday falls on a Friday and it's "no go" on a Friday comped Augustus stay so it would just be the one night. Would then head over to one of the Stations for 4 nights, probably Palace, and spend the last 5 nights comped at Bally's North Tower (with the 2 free tix to Faith Hill) or 4 nights + one $60 night at Paris. I hate paying for a room but I could use comp dollars to cover the last night at Paris.

So, it's a bit of moving around at first, but then it's followed by two longish stays.
That sounds like a plan. Even if you don't have a late checkout, you could store your luggage with the bellman and go to Mon Ami Gabi before going to your next hotel. The only problem might be that Mon Ami Gabi doesn't accept reward credits for payment. Perhaps Caesars will work with you because it's your birthday.

In Dec., I stayed in Bally's North Tower and had an excellent view looking north to the Strip. I spent a couple days somewhere else and was back at Bally's for 1 night. That night, they upgraded me to a larger room with a dressing area and nicer furnishings. Had the doors to the balcony not been locked, sealed shut, I could have stepped outside and have a direct view of the Bellagio Ftns.

I'm not a big fan of changing hotels and prefer to spend at least 3 nights in 1 location. However, I'm willing to move around to stay in a nicer room comped such as the Augustus Tower.

Mon Ami DOES accept reward credits.

The rooms in the Augustus Tower are amazing--we stayed there once. I liked being close to the pool area and the Diamond Lounge.

I guess it all depends on how much time you actually spend in your room. We have stayed at both Bally's and Paris, and walk back and forth constantly during the stay. Paris is more convenient to the pool area, but I like Bally's pool better. I love those alcoves in the sides of the pool where one can sit and relax and stay cool. Plus, the water isn't as icy cold as Paris is.

If you really like Qua, then stay at Caesar's.

Joy
Thanks Ladies for the tips.

Lisa, that room you had at Bally's sounds really nice. What kind of room was it? The rooms are better at Paris but I like the vibe of Bally's a lot better, down to the good live music in the casino area where I always see folks dancing to the music. I've never done the $20, $30 or $50 trick before but I'd do it if I thought it could get me a room like that at Bally's to really chill in for five whole days!

Joy, I'm not the kind of Vegas traveler who hangs in her room much but I like nice digs and I just love the look, the feel, the elegance of the CAT rooms and I have so many fond memories of my early trips to Caesars, pre-Harrahs, and I like just staying there though I don't like the casino as much as I used to like it.

I'm going to sleep on this one more night and then make a decision! Many thanks for the advice.
Joy, that's good to know. At one time Mon Ami Gabi did not take reward credits.

Flowers, I'm pretty sure it was 1810_, 1810 and a letter. I'll see if I can find the exact room number.
I just found the paper they give you with the keys. It says "Room No: (1) BB 1810.

Just to clarify, I spent 2 nights at Ballys in a standard North Tower Room, 2 nights off strip, then was back to Bally's for 1 night. While at Bally's the first time, I pulled an all-nighter at PHo as well as played at Ballys. I think play helped me get a complimentary upgrade. No $20 trick was needed.
I think floors 18 + are Diam floors in N. Tower, FFlowers. The odd #'s face the strip. Request one of those!
I always ask for a room NOT on Flamingo. Too noisey.

However............you were asking about a Caesars room?

Yes, I would take a Caesars room over a Ballys room...........for the Room & ambieance.

However, If you can get 5 nites at Ballys VS. only 2 at Caesars? Thats a big difference.

Schmooze your way to N. Tower. I KNOW you Can!! lol

Last couple trips I had rooms 2151 & 1847 Both nice, non-smoking & nice Bell. views.
Thanks Lisa for the room tips and CLV for having faith in my comp upgrading skills.
