Ballys, Flamingo or Luxor? Any thoughts?!

Leaving for Vegas in mid-August, for a weeks worth of fun and frolic, and since my freebies from V/P and T. I. have dried up I was bookin my non-strip offers (GVR, Main street station, etc.) as fast as I could. I told my girl last night that I had all our rooms booked ( because I LOOOOVE free) and she wanted to know "what strip hotel" we were staying at during all (or part) of our stay? [Note: we have only been to Vegas once together and last August,when we went to vegas, I had 2 comped nights at both the Venetian and Treasure Island! (she was impressed!!!!!!!)]

Soooo I began to look via the LVA hotel special deals section to see what I could see as far as "darn near free" decent hotel offers. And I found that Bally's, Flamingo and Luxor all were offering rooms for $32.00 a night if you book at least 2 nights.

Sooooooo in the interest of making my girl happy ( and I guess for $64.00 bucks-2 nights stay aint bad) I thought that I'd book 2 nights at 1 of those locations. I have stayed at the Flamingo ( albiet 4 or 5 years ago) and I have never stayed at Bally's nor the Luxor.

Hopefully A - my lil sis gets her comped rooms at Ceasars/Paris for the time while we are both in Vegas ( then I'll just bum a room key from her and impress my girl) and/or B- I can get some good/quick advice on Bally's, Flamingo or the Luxor! Quality/ambience (sic) of the room is probably the most important for her!. heck I just want a clean room in which I can Sleep, Shower, Shave and possibly a couple of other "S" words

I'd chose Bally's over Flamingo and try for the North Tower.

Lil Sis rumored to be staying at Ballys! I would also choose there, of your picks Champ!
Like Lisa said, schmmooze North tower. And IF you must have S. Tower?
Request a remodeled room with BEST view of Strip & Bell fountains.

Bally's - 6 (lil sis and C. L. V. count double and lil sis says that Lisa knows her stuff also - so she now counts double also!! )

Bally strictly based on location and no resort fees.

You might also consider Rio (off-strip) or Gold Coast/Orleans as you should be able to get a similar rate at all and the Rio rooms are better than any of the three you mentioned as are the upgraded rooms at GC and Orleans.

The Tropicana rooms are supposed to have been updated but, I have not stayed there but, at least they are making an effort. No money has been put into any of the Harrah's properties since the 1990's.

Is the Flamingo really that bad that it has received zero votes?
What about their Go Luxury View rooms?
