Ballys, Flamingo or Luxor? Any thoughts?!

Umm, I believe they've stayed at Palace Station on more than one occasion and like it.

Ouch Calipso...I'm glad my girl is not a LVA member ... and Lisa is correct although staying at the Palace Station doesnt solve my "strip" problem. Strongly leaning towards Ballys since thats what the majority is saying. All 3 are around 35 a night (although the "Go room" at the Flamingo costs more).

Champ, I still think you should try to get N.Tower Nearby Lil Sis.
She has been schooled in the fine art of schmoozing, and Room # requests,
You'll get a Diam upgrade N.Tower room.........just tell Front desk you want a Room near your sister!

Nuff said C. L. V. and dallasc5. Ballys is it! Now I just have to take some smoozing lessons from lil sis to see if I can get in that North tower because from the reviews the south is definitly a step (or 2) below the North tower!

Just made my room reservation at the Flamingo and I know I was influenced by the lack of a resort fee. I liked other properties but having to figure out what extra would be owed was just a hassle.

Now I only hope that my lil sis can put in a good word for me when she (and her Diamond card), check in at Ballys and she requests her 1 and only "BIG" brother have a room near her. Otherwise I'm stuck in the South Tower!

Is the room your looking at for Luxor in the tower or the pyramid? You kinda screwed up taking your girl for the first time to Vegas and staying at the Venetian. Dude you need start lower and build up to a nice property like the Venetian, oh well thats the way it goes sometimes.
If she is used to the V and TI and if the room at the Luxor is in the pyramid, I would suggest looking at the other 2 properties. Because of the slanted walls of the pyramid, the rooms are pretty small and if you want to look out the window you kinda need to duck your head so you can get close enough to the window without bumping your head against the glass to see out. How tall are you and your girl?

A1WOLF1.....I'm 5'10" and she is 5'4". Hopefully the room at Ballys will work. B. T. W. The last years freebie at the Venetian seemed like the thing to do at the time!
