BALLYS HOTEL ROOM COMPS TIGHT

My brother recently stayed at Ballys for four nights. He was staying there for a convention. He already had an offer for three nights comped as he is a Diamond Member. The nights were from a Friday to a Monday. He stayed in a regular room at one of the towers.

He managed to play about $40,000 to $50,000.00 a day through the $5.00 Jacks or better machines. Was told by host at the end of the trip to use his points, did not comp additional night. Was given $100.00 food at selected eateries at Bally's no free play.

My brother thinks hosts exist only for Seven Stars members. When I called slot club at a Harrahs property they were to busy to answer phone, message said they would call back never did. Their motto seems to be give no service, saves costs, and don't give anything additional for free.

My brother usally stays downtown at the Golden Nugget and is treated much better. I don't think he will be back at Bally's.

I have found that the CET hosts are generally a waste of time, at least for us mid-level gamblers. Last week my sister, who earns 1000 or more base points in a day, was basically given the brush off from a Planet Hollywood host.

I am a low roller, barely making Platinum each year. At Easter break, my husband, who is Diamond, gets five nights comped at Paris. Then I usually got one more night. This year, the only comped rooms I can get are Harrah's, the Quad, the Flamingo, or Rio.

I can understand not getting Caesar's, PH, or Paris, but BALLY'S?? That;s where I usually do 80% of my play!

So, I guess we will only be staying five nights this year instead of six.

Teach8, keep playing with the dates.
When I booked NOLA at the beginning of this year, the 4 weeknights I wanted were sold out, not available, not comped, etc. Then one Tues. afternoon, viola, they were available comped. This was Feb for a June trip.

Thanks, MissL, hope springs eternal.

Seriously, MissL7777 is totally right!!

Harrahs changes their hotel rates MORE than the airlines - it's crazy!!
Lisa is 100% correct.
I called CET last month trying to get a room for Rodeo week (just go with it) and was told everything was sold out or blocked out by hosts. I have been gold level with CET for the past two years and really don't give them any serious play. Well, over the weekend I was playing around on the TR web site and booked
four free nights at CP in a forum deluxe king room. I have no idea how that happened.
When you see it, take it.
