Bally's North Tower

For the first time in four years; I've got no free room offers from any CET properties.

However, I did get an offer from Bally's today. 5 nights for $200 (including weekends). You can split it up, or use it all at once between now and Dec. 2012. I didn't think this was too bad since I'm going to be there over a weekend. I booked all 5 nights (Weds thru Monday) then have two comped nights at the Orleans.

When I made the reservation today, the gal on the other end says to me that this offer is for a newly remodeled room in the North Tower (of course I don't see that explicitly written anywhere on the confirmation receipt they emailed me). She said it's the 'updated' tower and mentioned a marble bathroom. Doesn't sound like it's a strip view though (she said the South tower blocks the North Tower-huh?).

I've never stayed at Bally's but it's in a great location and attached to our favorite, Paris, so we're giving it a shot.
I received the same offer and was going to book it as well. Glad to hear that it was no problem to book. I planning to use for two nights in June and then three nights in September. Thanks for the info.
Thye rooms are standard and just a wee bit larger than most rooms. The north tower sits a bit further back from the strip, but it leads directly to the pool so you don't have to go through the casino. I've stayed in both the N and S Towers and had no complaints.

Joy
I've stayed at Bally's twice. Once in the North Tower and once in the South. Both rooms were good but I perfered the North Tower rooms a bit more. While we had a Grand room in the South tower with his/her sinks, a bidet and a large soaking tub in the middle of the room; the North Tower room was remodeled and had a good view of 3/4 of the Bellagio Fountains and of Ceasars palace. The South Tower view was of Paris and if your cranked your neck a bit of Bellagio. And as previously posted the North Tower is way easier to get to the pool and monorail.

Thanks for the input, all. I'm looking forward to the convenience of Bally's location most of all, especially Ellis Island in her backyard!
I'm NOT a Pool person when in Vegas, but IF you like the Pool or using monorail?
That hallway is directly below North Tower & easy to elevator down to that Floor from N. Tower rooms.

S. tower is a HIKE across the casino, to any of that. No way.

N. Tower mo'betta in all respects. Have a good trip.
