Bally's rooms

Will be staying at Bally's in May -- Stayed there once 3 years ago, had a basic room in the North tower then. It was fine, like I say basic but clean. I have been reading some reviews recently and the lack of "cleanliness" in some of them scares me. Older is okay. Dirty is not.

I have a North tower room reserved again (comped). Any recommendations about rooms? Are there any rooms that have been more recently remodeled or that might be worth asking for or even paying an upgrade for?
We were there last fall on comped rooms in the south tower, did the $20 sandwich tip and asked to my moved to the north tower with a fridge. We ended up in 1/2 a suite (2 rooms that can become 2 through a common door) and was clean enough. The north tower is newer, but I wouldn't exactly call it 'new'. I found the beds and pillows uncomfortable. But then, it was free, so I didn't complain too much.
We have been staying at Bally's since they started the construction on the Linq and have been very happy in the North Tower. We haven't had an issue with dirty at all. We are Diamond so we have always been on a Diamond floor in the North Tower. Not sure if that would make a difference. We go to Vegas 4 times a year and have stayed at Bally's the last 5 trips at least. We really like the location.
I didn't notice it being dirty and I have stayed there several times. Some people are overly critical and just like to find fault and then openly complain. I really like the North Tower rooms.

I have stayed in the north tower several times and have no complaints. Large room and was clean. Comped makes it even nicer. Hope you enjoy your stay regardless where you stay.
Inspect your room right away.
If it is dirty or otherwise unsatisfactory request to be changed.
People do it all the time. One time we went through 3 room changes.
