Best Casinos to do DIAD?

Dan, as Judy said do it after Jan 1 so it will last til March 31, 2013.

If you do it in Dec, ask before you play. Also confirm 3000 points. At one time I heard some properties required 4000 points in a day. If I were thinking about DIAD in Dec, I would email total rewards and ask about the number of points required and confirm the expiration date. It would suck to do DIAD in Dec and have it last only through March 2012. If they reply with the answer you're looking for, keep the email as proof.

Good advice. Yes, I will definitely get it confirmed in writing before I play. It's not imperative that I play this at any specific time so I won't do it anytime before I'm assured of being Diamond through March 2013.

Thanks!

Dan
I agree with Lisa. Would probably do DIAD after Jan. 1 unless I had something in writing.
But if you don't need until next year anyway? Wait til after New years.
There's my end of year, words of wisdom.
I did it (DIAD) at Bally's AC on January 2nd on a 7X multiplier day. I had confirmation in writing (email); which was a good thing, since they tried to tell me it was 4K Tier, but I had proof; and they immediately accepted it. Play was on full-pay VP. Only did it because of the 7X multiplier, and the ability to do it so early in the calendar year.

Good Luck!

I was under the impression that pont multipliers are player specific i.e. your previous play level means you qualified for it and it's not something offered to the general public. Obviously if I could tie DIAD with a multiplier, I'd prefer to do that.

I'm going to email TR and get confirmation on both point requirements (3k or 4k) and when is the earliest I can qualify for and still be Diamond through March 2013.

In the Atlantic City market, properties like Bally's tend to run 'open to the public' 7X multipliers on Sunday, once the winter season approaches. As far as I know, they did it again for this past November. It's announced on a month to month basis (actually, in this case, they even have a HUGE billboard advertising it on the AC-Expressway as you drive into town). There are other multipliers (in AC) that are player specific, where you need the mailer and postcard (or coupon).

My email via the TR website, a few months before I did my DIAD in Atlantic City :

Dear Michael,

Thank you for contacting us at Bally's Atlantic City.

In regards to the second email that you've sent to us, I'd be glad to assist you with the Platinum and Diamond in a Day Promotions. To participate in the Platinum in a Day promotion, simply earn 2000 base credits during one gaming day. For the Diamond in a Day,simply earn 3000 base credits during one gaming day (6am-5:59am) at any of our Harrah's Entertainment owned casinos in Atlantic City. Please know that in order to participate all base credits must be earned at one casino (earning 1500 at Bally's and 1500 at Caesar's will not qualify you for the promotion). We certainly hope that this information proves helpful.

We appreciate your inquiry and wish you a lucky day!

Listen to Mr. "O" as i call him.... he can work a casino.
He's not just a pretty face.
AC, b/c of our winters have different rules.
It ain't easy to work the system-- and they can change policy on a dime..you will find as many answers as employees but IF you get it in writing..AND bring said writing along to back you up..there is nothing but smiles from the other side of the desk.

Perhaps, you are just impressed, when on that lovely August morning (just a few months ago) at breakfast (@ 6ix, Bally's); you asked me what my 'plan for the day was' and I said.... "for my wife to hit a $5 ROYAL!" -- and then, 12 hours later......

Damn! that sure was good glitter, noahcat!!!!
Dan, with recent developments, you may want to play footsie with Joliet.
what developments are those?
