Best tower/rooms to stay in at Caesar's Palace?

Getting a comped room, so really not picky, but if there's a major difference I'm guessing it can't hurt to have my host make a request.  However, I'm going with my non-gambling wife and would like to impress her.

I did a search in this forum and all the answers seem to be from 2015 or earlier, so does anyone have any updated information?  I'm guessing the comments about the Octavius tower (one I'm booked in now) being a long walk to most areas is still relevant or is there more to do by that tower now? 

We will be renting a car, so which tower is closest to self-parking? Valet entrance?

Which tower is closest to the forum shops?  Strip entrance?

I can tell you my opinion, but first let me say I really don't concern myself with how long the walks are to anything when I go to Vegas.  That being said, my favorite rooms at Caesars are the Augustus Tower, and ask for a high floor, with a view of the Bellagio fountains.  You will get a huge room with a spectacular view.   Enjoy!

Agree with Stephen. I believe if you get a high floor ask for a room ending in 54, It has a great fountain view floor 50 or higher. That being said, if you are Diamond or higher, Augustus is great, but if you are self parking it is a long walk from the Augustus Tower to the garage which is in the Forum Casino.. Augustus has their own valet, but I've never used it. But I think they charge. Octavis is a bit closer, only because of the shortcut to the buffet area, but it is still a long walk. Closest Towers to the Self Parking are Nobu Hotel, Forum and Palace Towers. They are okay, but Octavius and Augustus are better. Augustus is my favorite.
