Caesars Classic Room versus Flamingo Go room

I have only seen negative reviews of the Classic rooms at CP, that they aren't even worth staying at. Are the Go Rooms at Flamingo a major improvement over the Classic rooms at CP?

Also, when getting room rate info at CP, the Classic Rooms are priced the same as Roman Tower rooms, is there any difference between Classic and Roman Tower rooms?

Thanks in advance for any help you can give.
The Go room had very comfortable bed and a cool decor. The only negative was that the bathroom had a sliding door that opens right into the room and not a hallway entrance. The glass door wasn"t see thru however you could clearly see shadows and any odors would be closer. These could be good or bad depending on your occupancy situation. The Augustus and Palace towers are bigger and nicer however I have no problem with the classic rooms since all are much more convenient to the action for me and I really prefer Caesars to Flamingo The Centurion tower next to Cleopatra's Barge has the best central location and quickest elevators in hotel.Like buying the cheapest home in an upscale neighborhood.Have fun,Manny
I have never stayed in one, but the reviews I have read of the Classic rooms really scare me. I don't know if there is any difference between Classic and Roman tower, but there must be, since they are listed as seperate room types. If you take the caesars room, hope for an upgrade to at least the remodeled Forum Tower. The GO rooms aren't too bad at the Flamingo, but you are still in the Flamingo. And when I stayed in one, my neighbors conversations might as well have been happening in my room. I hate thin walls
I recently tried the GO room. First time was a Tuesday and my impression was good enough to
try a second visit. For one person it was fine. Two or more would be too close for comfort.

Second visit had a view of the strip, and it was very nice. However, it was a Friday night
and the noise from people partying in the hallways was an issue. Several times I heard
security asking peole to move on.

The Flamingo is the only property in America that has a monument to a known criminal,
Bugsy Siegal, so I had to try it. Of course when Tony Soprano went to Las Vegas,
he stayed at Caesars. (I am sure it wasn't in a classic room).
