I received a second reply from my local casino. My original complaint was sent to Caesar's Entertainment and was apparently forwarded to the Joliet casino. Someone must have thought her reply was a little rude, so she took some of it back. I know that the Joliet Casino doesn't dictate how things work and I wish it had gone higher up the food chain. Still doesn't make a difference in my book. Chris Brown is a thug and a punk who beats women. It reflects poorly on Caesar's as a brand name. Here is her followup email.
I thought about your concern further because it is clearly very serious and important to you, so I did some additional investigation. Chris Brown was hired by Drai's Night Club for a DJ residency. While Drai's Night Club is located at one of our properties, the Cromwell; I don't believe that is a decision that lies exclusively with Caesars Entertainment and especially has nothing to do with us here at Harrah's Joliet.
Also, the same can be said about the Paula Deen Situation. I admittedly don't have all of the details as far as what took place with her personally. However, I can let you know that the decision to remove Paula Deen's name from our buffet was not a decision made specifically by Harrah's Joliet. That was also a company-wide determination that impacted 3 other casinos as well.
I certainly understand that this explanation does not provide any closure to either of the issues that you presented but I did want to let you know that unfortunately these are not decisions that we have any input on at the property level.
Thank you again for your feedback and we hope that you will continue to visit us here at Harrah's Joliet Casino & Hotel.
