Emotional attachment to the rotunda? Maybe not to that one structure, but to us old gomers who enjoyed the themery of the Las Vegas Strip once upon a time, mostly we (or I at least) viewed those properties and their structures in their entirety. I'm sure this rotunda must have appeared in some Vegas-related motion pictures, TV shows, etc.

I seem to remember the rotunda having an IMAX theater in it. Maybe it wasn't that popular?
I was reading that the Omnimax theatre was located where there Colleseum is now.

I stayed at Caesars back in '96 when it still had it's original theme. I was there last in 2018 just to get the 50th anniversary chips. The place does nothing for me now, as does most of the Strip.
