Caesar's Resort Fees?

Just got the following from CET: Resort fees will be going into effect on reservations made after March 1st, however as a Diamond guest you would not be subject to resort fees.

It should be insulting to all their customers that they positioned it like it was what we wanted.
Let's see,sell hard against the competion charging resort fees for two years and then say they are doing it because it is what we want!

I love how Caesars/Harrah's tells us that this is what we want -- just like they said about Bally's/Paris bringing back due to popular demand Single-Deck Blackjack paying a "Whopping 6 To 5!" It's just rotten!

I'd say that at the very least (if CET has any amount of decency), hotel guests should be able to have the option of opting out of what they are being offered for this "Resort Fee"!
