Carnaval Court construction

My co-workers and I are visiting LV 2/6 thru 2/9, just found out that Carnaval Court is closed until 3/1 for remodeling! We need a new location for our "trip meet-up / drunken get-together" which can easily accomodate 8-10 revellers!

We like the CC because there's lots of seating, it's not pretentious, and we can all buy a round of over-priced "Giant" drinks in a big plastic container, while enjoying the so-so but entertaining bands! (We used to love the 70's knock-off band that used to play there... can't think of the name right now... )

I wouldn't mind meeting at the Cosmopolitan's Book and Stage, but we really will miss the outdoor atmosphere at the CC, and some of my friends wouldn't feel at home there....

With this trip coming soon, and so much construction going on mid-strip, I'm really BEGGING for suggestions at this point! LVA forum members, don't let me down!!

Isn't there somewhere near Paris or Pho that sells drinks in the large plastic containers?

Have you considered any of these to meet for drinks, Seahorse lounge at Caesars, Bond Bar at Cosmopolitan, Heart Bar at PHo, or Gustav's Bar at Paris. I'm pretty sure both Paris and PHo have live bands at night.

The band you are thinking of was Wonderboogie - they're slated to start at the Rio on Feb 4th in the Voodoo lounge.

If you're wanting an outdoor area that's somewhat center-strip, you might try PBR Rock Grill or Cabo Wabo outside of Planet Hollywood. Cabo Wabo is on the north side, and PBR is on the south side of the casino, and both have large outdoor patios facing the strip.
