EI's best day is Tuesday, when you have the $20 cashback promo. The next best day is Thursday, when you have the 1500 point wheel spin (worth about $15) and the 200-point prize table (a wide choice of some surprisingly nice stuff--might make for a nice souvenir). Rainbow's best day is Sunday ($20 cashback), but you won't be there then, so their next best day is Wednesday, with a really good wheel spin for 1500 points ($21).
Rainbow's promos largely mirror EI's, but they're on different days--and the only way to find out what they are is to look at the flyers by the players' club/cage. The 200-point prize giveaway, for example, is on Monday at Rainbow. The only things that coincide are the big point multiplier hours, which makes sense, because if they were staggered, they'd have players hopping back and forth across the street like demented bunnies.
Another note: in either joint, slot points are 75X from 4:30 to 5:00. Every slot at both places is some kind of bonus game, so if you want to take a flier before dinner and maybe hit something big, that's the time. At the very least, you'll make enough points for dinner; your return will be 5% better than it would without the multiplier, and I have the feeling that the slots there are pretty loose.
Should you be there on Wednesday, eat dinner at EI--it's their BBQ night. They actually have their own smoker, and the food is surprisingly good.
So: Tuesday, concentrate on EI, get the $20, then maybe eat at Rainbow (try the steak and shrimp special, which I believe is offered every evening). Wednesday, hit Rainbow for the wheel spin (there are three $100 and three $50 slots on the wheel!) and then eat BBQ at EI. That's what i would do if I were there Tues-Wed.
You may never want to visit any other casino ever again.
