CET and Customer Service

What a great story, FF!!
Congrats on the great room score, and belated HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
I've always said CET (Harrah's, HET, whatever) does customer services to a T.
Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes.

Noahcat, picking up on HOW the check in woman said it. So true. So true. I was kind of out of it but alert enough to get the message! LOL.

Fremont4ever, I hear you re: the pay tables. If CET had slamming pay tables my guess is most of the strip casinos would tank big time. But, I gotta tell you, when it comes to my favorite game -- super times pay and DOUBLE STP (the ultimate favorite) -- the paytables for that game, while not great, were actually better than the paytables at Palace Station. The regular single line VP at Palace was full pay but the STP was anything but.
I wish you guys could have seen her FACE when she came down to tell me about the mother of all suites she got...it was ALMOST as exciting as the W2G hit an hour later...LOL!

FFlowers is right, the service was fantastic, CET knows how to make you feel like you're more than you are. The security guy who stopped to talk to be at the Flamingo was Bert...I still have his card, a really nice touch!

There I am playing nickel VP and the drink gals swarmed us! Viva Las Vegas!

I am flying in on Thursday but was going to stay elsewhere, as my three free nights at Caesars begin Friday. I had free rooms at Gold Coast and Red Rock. I called Caesars and told them I was coming early and had other offers, but really wanted to stay with them. I did have other Caesars' offers, too and they actually let me use one! So, without the 48-hour window, I got the extra night free, back to back with my other nights! I was really impressed. Will report back on person-to-person service during my stay! Happy belated b-day FF!

Jhawkgirl -- Congrats!!! And thanks for the belated birthday wishes. It's so nice that you'll be at Caesars for the four nights and won't have to move. Again, great customer service but also again, these folks are no fools. I think I read or heard someplace that if folks are staying at two or more places during a casino really wants you at their place first because that's where a disproportionate amount of one's bankroll typically is spent. That makes sense. Caesars wants you at its property and no place else! Good for them and good for you! Win big!
