CET Credits Question

I would say go ahead a try it. If the clerkling gets all confused, slip her a $5 spot. That'll help her to "understand"! =) I've never had any problems, however, without tipping. They almost never look. Why should they? Some stranger wants to put free points on someone else's card? Can't imagine it's an issue. Now, if you're an ADT junkie like I am, I respect how they could be an issue. For the sake of this thread, I'll leave it as "You'll have no problems".
I disagree. I don't want some "stranger" swiping my card for whatever reason. I realize the OP will be there and is a different scenario. However, I am glad they ask for ID for when one swipes their card and/or charging to the room.

Seriously, if I were at a business dinner with 15 Associates and the boss was buying, I'd let the boss pay and not try to get points on my card. I'd treat it as a business dinner at any non-casino location.
Asking your boss to use your card to get a few measly dollars in points is a bad judgement call. Tacky is the least of your worries.

Have you actually figured out how much you really get for going through this hassle?
When did CET start giving TIER credits for purchases? I was in Joliet recently and got an email that said congradulations you've earned bonus TIER credits.

MGM/mLife is doing the same thing. If you charge a meal to your room, you get tier points. Otherwise, if not staying at the property, present the card to the server and he/she will process it. Anything you do that involves spending money at the property earns tier credits.

We spent something like $26 this morning on breakfast at Bellagio. The ticket said we earned 758 tier credits, or something like that.
Hmm, are you sure it was for a food purchase? They have started sending out emails notifying of when you earn the tier match bonus in the last month or so.
Thank You. Thats what it is.
