cet property pool hopping

I was staying at Caesars, was not pool hopping. Just was not happy when I could not find a spot to put towels lay out. I am glad Flamingo checks, I think it because the same problem or over-crowding.
.
Checking cards/id's hasn't done anything for the overcrowding at the Flamingo pool as you can still pay to get in. Was there on a Sunday afternoon and you couldn't find a place to put your towel let alone any room in the pool. I think it was the first time at a Vegas pool where all the cabanas were rented out. The place was really hopping with a dj playing music and limbo contests going on.
When we were at the Flamingo in April it was definitely busy. We had trouble finding a place to sit and some people were just sitting on the cement wherever they could find room. Lots of stuff going on though like the limbo and other contests....
We were at Flamingo 2 weeks ago. Pool opens @ 9am, got there @ 9:10 and got 2 of the last seats available. And they don't let you just throw a towel down and go to breakfast/room/etc. Security walks around and any chairs with towels only are picked up and made avaialable. Two couples were next to us and they took turns going to breakfast to save the seats. All day long streams of people were walking around looking for seats and taking up any small piece of real estate........knee walls, ground, etc. Best though was a group of young guys. In Flamingo pool there are tiny "islands" that have a palm tree growing out of the concrete base, whcih actually has a seat ringing it in the water. Patti and I were stting there in the water and 6 guys come out and ask if they could share. They broght their towels, and each had his own beer bucket, and that was their place for the day.
I think pretty much the same can be said for Caesars at opening time, as last year I saw a line at the pool entrance when I went for coffee at 8:30am. Last year at least, you COULD just throw a towel on a chair and come back later and still have it. Don't know if they're now doing it like Flamingo security.

We were at Caesars the last week of April. My husband usually beat me to the pool and I asked him if they checked for his room key. He said they didn't ask but he had his key in his hand where they could see it. Lots of people were just throwing their towels on the chairs and leaving. By 10 in the morning, all chairs had towels but not many people there. They showed up after breakfast.
