CET reservations scam!

I just called the Paris to get an email regarding my reservations that I had made in Jan. so I would have it when I checked in. I spoke to a very nice lady and she sent it promptly. Before ending the phone conversation she informed me that I was eligible for a promotion of $100 in gaming chips and two free show tickets. OK, I thought maybe because of our loyalty to CET for over 20 years. So I agree to it but not before saying what's the catch. Her response, No catch I will just have to forward you to the promotions dept. and they will take care of it for you. To make a long story short I finally got through and guess what I was transferred to Orlando Florida and they tried to get me to sign up for a timeshare presentation ! Total waste of my time. Buyer Beware ! Has this happened to anyone else ?
another way for cet to make a buck------years ago before they closed showboat in ac they had a time share booth right off the casino floor-----you would get hassled as you walked bye-----
Time share hawkers on the casino floor are nothing new.
But this telephone bait, first I've heard of it.

However, some would endure the 2 hour high pressure sales pitch for $100 in "gaming chips" and show tickets.

A few years ago, Hilton Honors had a similar promo, no gaming chips, a good travel promo.

that is tacky.
J guess you haven't been in the lobby of Ballys with someone. If they see what looks like a couple....BEWARE! They come at you like its the last days!
OH, we know the drill very well ! When we see them we say " Separate" and one of us walks faster than the other and they don't bother us ! Been doing that for over 20 years.
Same happened to me after confirming a Paris reservation last week. I, too, thought it was very tacky.
Very tacky !
