CET, Table games and comps : Revisiting this topic

Last year I gave up on CET after being told by hosts in LV and AC that I should play slots and roulette if I wanted to see comps. I have been a regular with M Life in LV, Borgata and Foxwoods on the East coast, and have no complaints.

Last month I stopped in at Harrahs in AC, played my usual games and limits for about 3 hours.
All of a sudden they are being very nice to me in Ac and to my surprise, offering some free nights and deep discounts in LV.

Question: have you seen CET loosening up on comps for table players?

Of course, staying away for more than 12 months may have restarted some marketing cycle.

For me CET gives no love in Vegas on table games and adequate love in New Orleans.

Stick with MGM for Vegas.
I only play $5 tables, so I never got any comps from CET (nor did I expect any). But last March I played 3 card poker with a friend for maybe 3-4 hours at the IP/Quad/Linq. About half way through the session, the pit boss came up to the table and began apologizing profusely for not logging my time. He said he'd add some hours to my play. I said OK and forgot about it.

Suddenly last summer I started getting offers of two free weeknights at CET properties that have continued since then. I was assuming I'd passed some mystical standard or the pit boss miscalculated my play, but maybe it's what you're describing. I'll never understand which low rollers get offers and which do not.

3 Card Poker has a higher casino advantage than blackjack, which may explain the attention of the pit boss and the comps you are receiving.

I put a few thousand coin in at Harrahs AC last weekend, no felt. Suddenly LV room rates next month went to teen/twenties. I think we have a window, and no clue how long it's open. Good luck!
