If you're like me and your ADT is important to you, this is EXACTLY how you should handle your CET restaurant costs. Now, the down side is you will end up paying tax for your meal. If you don't mind paying the tax on the bill, this is for you!! If, on the other hand, you're not as concerned about your ADT (lets say you don't get to many/any CET properties but once a year), then go ahead and use your players card points to pay the bill and call it good.
One last note, not all restaurants in the CET properties let you charge to your room. Some of them are independently owned but just operate out of a CET property, they'll tell you if you can't charge it to your room. Funny story: to charge your meal to your room, you typically just need to hand them your room key and ID. So I did just that but didn't know that particular restaurant didn't allow for room charges. She told me that if I wanted to charge me meal to me room, that wasn't possible with her restaurant, and if I was giving her my room key to swing, she didn't play that way. =) She must have people trying to charge to their room all the time and so she's come up with a cute way to let people know it's not possible.
