Comped Augustus Tower, Caesars, must have non-smoking

Host has reserved 2 rooms for 4 nights comped in Augustus Tower Caesars in July. I have requested non-smoking but I have read that sometimes you get there and not only you are not in the tower reserved but you can only get a smoking room. This would be very bad. I have not been to Vegas for a few years and I am no longer Diamond. I just attained Platinum. What are the chances of the reservations getting changed. We arrive on Sunday July 12, mid afternoon. We will taxi to Caesars, should be there between 3 to 4. Since the room was booked by a host do I have a better chance of all being OK. When I was at the Diamond level my host back then took care of everything. Also, from what I have read I will have to go through regular check-in, does anyone know if the lines are long?

The only time I've ever had a challenge with not getting a non smoking room was at Red Rock. I arrived right before midnight. They moved me the next day. I've always received a non smoking room at any Ceasar's property regardless of tier level. As long as you don't arrive near midnight, you should be okay.

Being a host booked the room, you should be okay.

Should be no problem to get non-smoking.

Be willing to park your luggage and wait, if necessary.

Also, the Octavian tower rooms are just like Augustus rooms, newer, just a bit more of a walk.
Palace Tower is just as nice also. Those are all good if you don't get Augustus.

I haven't seen long lines in the main registration area in a long time.
Last time there they had moved Diamond in with 7 Stars, making the Diamond check in a regular check in area, which I think helped.

With Caesars properties, Average Daily Theoretical (ADT) is king, not your card status. The fact that you have a host is telling that you are in good shape for your room preference.
