Comped room question

My husband and I do not have linked accounts. We are staying 7 nights. He can get 5 nights comped but would have to pay for the other 2 nights. I can get the same type of room comped under my card for 2 nights. I know we can make separate reservations but will they link the reservations together so we do not have to check out and check back in? Will they just allow us to stay in the same room for the entire 7 nights with the 2 different reservations?

We are staying at Flamingo if that matters...Hub is Platinum and I am gold.

Try this - book 7 nights under his card and list your card as a companion (or whatever they call it on the online form), then search for rates. They may just give you the 7 nights comped that way.

If not, I would call and ask, since you do not want to book and then later you have a problem at checkin.

Putting my card in as a companion card does not work. It comes out the same.

I contacted them and they said I have to check out and check back in. We might be able to keep the same room depending on availability. Anyone have experience with this? Either way I guess it beats having to pay for a room. I just hate packing and repacking...

99% that you will be able to stay in the same room. They are just speaking the "company line" when you call.

The only time this is ever an issue, is when you are occupying a suite, say midweek, and then have Friday/Saturday as a regular room. Obviously, they aren't going to let you keep the suite. But, for regular rooms in Vegas properties where there are thousands of rooms; this is seldom ever a problem
