Cosmo Question

We stayed in a wrap-a-round suite which has the terrace on two sides of the building. You'd have to be VERY drunk and climb up to fall off the balcony. Making you're own coffee is a real "grind" but it's one of the "perks" of having a kitchenette. Go downstairs and pick some up. I believe there was one (hundred) Starbucks on the strip.

Being an East Coaster I am usually up early when I am in Las Vegas.
I head to the casino and get more than my share of coffee.
My wife however, is slow getting up and would love to lounge around and not have to get dressed to go buy two $4.00 cups and go back upstairs.
Profbac, Cosmo actually has two exercise rooms, a smaller one in the East Tower and a much bigger one in the West Tower (or it might be the other way around). I stopped in the East Tower room once, planning to work out, but then changed my mind, walked out and had a big breakfast instead. LOL. Workout area wasn't that big but it was nice. There are specs on the website for the each workout space, even listing the number and kind of machines to give you a sense of things.

I have never checked it out but the spa, at least online, looks nice.

Qua is my favorite spa. I can't imagine a nicer place but I'm a big Cosmo fan and I'm sure the spa is very nice.

JMDLV1, If your wife drinks instant coffee, I believe all of the Terrace Suites have microwaves (I'm bringing popcorn this time) so she could have hot water for her instant coffee. I'm even thinking about bringing a small pot this time. It would be nice to not have to leave the room until you have to and I love the smell of coffee brewing.

Thanks for this info. Oh, I'm not a climbing drunk. I just didn't want to go close and lose my balance.

I'll try it sometime....maybe this fall. Thanks.

1. Did you use the exercise room or spa? How would you compare it to Caesars.

2. How are they on comps. I was comped when they were new, and the experience wan't great.

I'm very curious about the comps also.
My host at Aria has taken good care of me for the last couple years in the Sky Suites but I wanted to try a change of venue to break my bad streak at the tables.
There have been a lot of bad reports about Cosmo on another Board in terms of dramatically underrating players in addition to unresponsive hosts.
I am still going to try it and will post a comparison of the properties when I get back.
I only play the $5 full-play JoB machines at the high-limit bar. It is one of my favorite places in the entire world, the drinks, the pretty and personable barkeeps. I probably play 2 hours a day, very slowly because I'm always talking to the gals, maybe $7,500 coin-in. For that, I get two nights free in the terrace suites (or whatever they are, facing the Bellagio fountains). Seems OK to me.

At Cosmo I play about 80 percent slots and 20 percent vp. Yeah, I know I shouldn't but it's what I like to do. (At locals casinos I am often the reverse.). I don't know my coin in but I often play max on pennies, so 2 to 3 dollars a spin. For the past six or seven months I have received a monthly offer (comes mid month and is good through the end of the following month) for 3 comped nights in a terrace premium room, 100 RFB and 450 in FSP. BEST offers I get from any casino though I get a greater number and variety of offers from CET for what feels like similar play. Downside is that you need seven days between offers in contrast to CET, which requires only 48 hours in between offers. I don't go to Vegas often but when I do go it is usually for an 8 to 9 day trip so I like the CET policy better. I am pumped though. Cosmo reservation person semi hooked me up. She said I had to have at least five days between the end of my first stay and the beginning of my second stay but she counted the seven days from the first day of my first reservation to the first day of my second reservation. Bottom line is that for my upcoming trip I can book my March and April offers for a total of 900 in FSP and 200 in RFB. .

I forgot the ratio but think comp dollars, which you can exchange at the same rate for slot play, are earned more quickly than at CET though I am not 100 percent sure.
Sounds great. I stay away from the slots, but it seems like they're treating you pretty well. I am surprised, but I really love the Cosmo.
I play single line $ vp, or triple play quarters almost exclusively at Cosmo.

Although this last trip.......the 3 of us found 3 penny machines sidebyside, and had a blast.
Kept getting free games and multipliers. I turned my $20 into $170.
Cashed out, stuck in another $20.......when it got to $40, cashed out & gave to The Kid. lol
We had a great time!

Food IS pricey, as they guys mostly complained about that........
But the accomodations? Top notch.

Like FF, its a FAV place to stay.........and the balcony suites over the Bell fountain ARE Awesome.

We're looking forward to our stay at the Cosmo in August. I'm wondering if they target their offers to the Californian market like the M resort does? We live in Washington so can't drive over for the weekend but... we fly down fairly often. Wondering if our play will translate into offers.
