The Cromwell?

I agree with the QOD writer on the fact that this is a controversial name.
maybe it's that controversy sells.
reality shows seems to be popular. or at least not going away.
I would think "The Elizabeth" or "The Churchill" would be better choices.
although, even in those cases, there *could* be controversy.
I guess you can't please all of the people all of the time.
pleasing as many as possible, most of the time, would seem to be a more business approach though.
will the irish be allowed in? will Will and Kate visit?
maybe enough time has passed. Abe Lincoln is usually ranked in the top 3 presidents by all the states, not just the northern ones.

I guess if it has good VP and 3:2 blackjack, nobody will care what it's called.

Well as I said in the Las Vegas (General) section, I think that if this name is for this special (Cromwell) current around the Equator, I find it curious that CET would use that name since they already have a property which is connected to a "special current" -- the Flamingo Wash which causes flooding in the parking lot of what is now The Quad (see the LVA QOD from 4/4/2008 about the Imperial Palace Parking Lot Flooding).
