Diamond in a day

Has anyone tried or achieved the Diamond in a day under the new tier point/bonus tier system? If so my question is what was your starting bankroll? Also anyway it was achieved I am interested to hear about but very interested if achieved thru VP play as that is what I play.

Diamond in a day takes 5000 tier points ($50,000 on VP or $25,000 coin in on slots) and will give you a 10000 tier point bonus for a total of 15000 points which equals diamond status.

You can also do this over 2 days doing 2500 points each day which will give you a 5000 point bonus. This is typically the route I go. Win/loss varies. I don't have a day to day bankroll. I have a total bankroll so can't help you out with what you should start with.

bankroll would depend on volatility (variance, I think my friends call it), & denom as basically inverse to how long you can sit and grind. yes, did it, but only once. yes I've done half-diad once and sorta plodded thru the last, last year. To get half DIAD, at dollars, on 9/6 JOB, you'd want thousands in your billfold. Much more on anything else. There are experts who know meaning of risk-of ruin calculations. Good luck!

If you choose to play by March 31, 2015, you can reach Diamond for even less action. During that time you get a special 50% tier bonus above and beyond all other matching and bonus tier offers (up to 25,000 bonus tiers). I think this was because CET wants to entice players nervous about the bankruptcy filing. So you only need to get to 10,000 tier credits by March 31, 2015.

So if on Day One you earn 2,500 tier credits, you get 5,000 bonus for a total of 7,500 tier credits.

Day Two earn 1500 tier credits, with associated 1,000 bonus for a total of 2.500 tier credits.

10,000 tier credits by March 31, 2015 has a extra 50% kicker added on April 15, 2015 which gets you to Diamond.

doing it the way described by FABismonte, would require how much coin in on slots? this is getting tempting, but I'm not a vp player.

For slots, each $5 of coin in equals 1 point. Video poker, each $10 of coin in equals 1 point.

The tier bonuses are really nice and I'm looking forward to the bump in April. For January I managed three 1,000 tier days and one 500 tier day, so I don't have much to go to hit 10k by the end of March.
Last year was my first as a Diamond, and I have to say I enjoyed it.
For some reason it became awfully easy to keep since I ended up with just over 41k status points for the year and ended up in positive figures in 4 of the 5 CET casinos I played in...the Tunica Roadhouse was especially good to me.
