Anyone been to either one? Wondering how they are. Can't find any infor online about them on the Caesars website. Do they have full meals like Joliet or Hammond or just snacks.
Cleveland has probably the largest and nicest diamond lounge I've been in. A significant downside to many is that the drinks are not free. There are some good heavy apps out from time to time but never a meal that I'm aware of. Of course there are some that will make a meal out of several plates of apps.
My Windsor info may be a bit dated. They used to provide a pretty decent meal in their lounge but you have to have 50k points for access. I read somewhere fairly recently that they're opening a new diamond lounge. I don't recall whether that's finished or in progress.
Cleveland's DL only serves apps on Fri & Sat. There have been weeknights with apps but that has been sporadic. DL bartender told us they are still moving around the schedule when apps will be available. When they did serve them it was good. Beyond the usual cheese, crackers and wings served in LV DL's.
Windsor's DL is not open yet. I got a June newsletter saying it was opening "in the fall". I wonder if this DL is in response to Cleveland & Toledo casinos opening. Something to draw people back to Windsor.
Sounds like they downgraded the food offerings. Last time we were in there (when food was served) they had shrimp tempura, crab puffs, brownies and cookies. Nothing spectacular but the shrimp tempura was good.
