Diamond Status in a Day?

Opinions/comments welcome....

The TR website says you can earn Diamond Status in a day and I'd like to do it. There's an "Earn Tier Credits" tab which displays a chart of Tier Credit (TC) bonuses for reaching a number of Tier Credits in a day.

https://www.totalrewards.com/content/cet-tr/en/earn-and-redeem/with-total-rewards.html

According to the chart, 5,000 Tier Credits in a day earns a 10,000 Tier Credit Bonus which gets you Diamond Status. If I play $5 slot machines and play $25 each play, that's 5TC per play or only 1,000 plays total to get to 5,000.

The numbers double for VP, but 2,000 plays in one day still seems manageable, even fun. There's a Horseshoe with 99.54% JoB in my area.

I'll bring a big enough bankroll to avoid busting out (setting aside freakishly bad luck).

Is this a good plan? Thanks.
I don't normally play at harrahs or cet properties. what perks will you get from diamond status?
Diamond status perks: no resort fees, free internet, Diamond Lounge privileges for you and a guest, expeditied seating at most restaurants, giftmshop discount, expediated taxi line, etc. Moore are listed at totalrewards, cim.

5,000 a day in VP is way too much playing. I have had 3 two nite visits to Tunica and easily do 2500 a day with the 5,000 bonus which gives me a Diamond each visit. I've done it three times so far this year and are at around 55,000.

I like Tunica over Vegas because their $ DDB VP is all full pay with a good number of machines at the Shoe and RH. Visits include comped steak house each night and free buffet during the day. Host is easy to work with. Besides, I almost always win big there!!!

So far been to vegas on 2 6 day trips and only visited Rio one time. Lots of comped rooms and shows, but the VP sucks compared to Tunica. I'd rather do RR and Sams on Vegas visits where they take excellent care of me (and I maintain my President and Emerald status).

At CET, daily average drives offers. I recommend going for DIAD at a property you want to receive offers from.
