Don't stay in room 2564 Augustus tonight

I'm checking out now, just found 2 dead bedbugs in the glass I used to rinse my mouth out last night.
I called down to the front desk and they took the glass to a supervisor so they are handling the problem. I'm grossed out and now leaving to move to 4Q for the rest of my trip.
ugh and ick-- but what..how...why would they be in a glass?
I don't even want to know...
yick

burn your stuff Luv.. burn your stuff.

PS Bigfus found dried bloody used sheets at the 4Q when she removed the bedspread last- no, make that THIS MONTH
My room at 4Q looks okay, I'll have to check the bed when I get back up there. The thing is I left my stuff on the bathroom counter instead of the closet as I always do? So now I'm not sure what to do. I only had a minimal amount of clothes since my new packing system I leave ev in most of my stuff in the car and just bring up outfits daily.

I left the glass of water on the bathroom counter after rinsing from brushing my teeth. All I know is in the morning when I looked down they were in the glass. I hope I didn't rinse with them
since I didn't have my glasses or contacts in!
I'm sure Caesars would say they came from your belongings as they don't inhabit hard tile surfaces.

That was my thought too, Luvstp.
Where were you BEFORE you put your belongings on Counter in Aug. tower?
Fly? Overhead bin? Drive? Rental car? Stay at different hotel?

I've gotten in the habit of bringing the luggage rack in the bathroom, on the tile, or putting my
suitcase on the tile counter.......depending how much room I have. I move their stuff around,
and make MY stuff Fit.
My suitcase never goes in the closet or stay on the carpet.

I agree its gross to think the bugs got on the counter. Is it possible they werent' bedbugs,
but might be small cockroaches? Because I'd expect them on a counter or in a glass.......

This would be the first time I've heard of BB's outside of carpet/bedding/drapes areas.
I guess it could be anywhere then. I have a rental car, stayed at LVH for 4 nights no problems there, the guy they sent up confirmed that it was a bedbud, I have never seen one before. He took the glass to show the supervisor so I'm sire they will handle the problem. I've tried to be really careful about packing and nothing goes on the floor or bed, bit when I got there I did leave my bag on the couch for a bit. If it's in the car then I'm glad all of
my stuff is in ziplocks and will go astraogjt to the wash when I get home. I switched to a soft sided luggage for this purpose but due to my long trip I brought my rollerboard this time too so that will be drycleaned? Everything will be wrapped in garbage bags before it goes into my car. I HATE bugs of any kind! Any other suggestions would be helpful, should I just toss my rollerboard? It an expensive Travelpro, and I don't want to but if I have to let me know.
Another CET downgrade! I used to get 3 dead bugs in my bathroom....
All y'all's houses must be squeaky clean, pristine, sterile.
Yesterday I saw a mosquito in the office. Sprayed him.
Two weeks ago saw a bug crawling up the bathroom wall. Smushed him.
My house is as clean as anyone's, probably cleaner than many.
Still now and then a critter gets in someway.

Now, blood on sheets? YIKES!!! I'm outta there!
S- the bugs MIGHT be still With you? Or in, or On, your suitcase?

You may not have to chuck your suitcase, but I wouldn't put it in the house.
I'd set it out somewhere, like garage.

If it were me? I'd throw out everything. lol But thats just me.

Good Luck. HOpe rest of trip, uneventful.

Well, except for winning!

Like CLV,
I too haul my luggage rack thingy from the closet into the bathroom ..(if it's a decent size)
Better lighting and tile floors helps spot any non-paying intruders.

Candy, what a story-- Bigfus goes to Vegas w/ a herd of friends (all non-gamblers) She checks herself into Aria and gives it to her girlfriends- then her and another pal, Jackie (who saw the Aria room) head down to 4Q...and the friend says why are we here and why do THEY have the Aria room..!?!?
poor thing..answer : Kip wanted to log some serious gambling time at 4Q.

Jackie was hostess and drink maker at the MPT this August, a good sport if I ever saw one.
