FAB Luxury Room at Flamingo

I'm thinking of being adventurous and staying at Flamingo. Never have stayed at Flamingo and thinking about staying there once so I can say I have. Has anyone recently stayed in the newly remodeled FAB rooms? I'm looking for input on the new rooms only. Please refrain from telling me the Flamingo is a dump and there are better options. Thank you in advance.

Guests will feel Forever Fabulous in Flamingo's newly remodeled FAB rooms. Stylish decor meets simple luxury with splashes of signature Flamingo pink, wood-toned floors & furnishings throughout the 350-sq ft space. Contemporary chaise lounges, patterned rugs, chic lighting & vintage Vegas framed artwork create an ultra-modern setting. Upgraded beds feature extra-soft pillow-top mattresses with plush linens & faux fur throws for the ultimate comfort. Rooms are also equipped with 32-in flat screen t.v.

Sweeping views of the Las Vegas Strip!

I stayed a couple weeks ago for one night in a Fab room. It was my first time staying at Flamingo, so I can't compare it to any other room there. It was just a standard vegas strip room that was cleaned up a bit. New floors, comfortable beds, flat screen tv. Bathroom wasn't redone at all. It needed paint and caulking around the tub and sink.

Nothing special, but not too bad either.
Thank you, jnahenderson.
Would you stay there again?

I would. Next time at flamingo I'll probably try the Go room or Go suite, but I wouldn't shy away from staying in a fab room.

If you go to page #2 of this forum (Harrah's Caesars) there is a post entitled Flamingo Fab Luxury rooms. Some of the replies are from folks who haven't stayed in one, but several have, including myself. Here is my post from the other thread:

The flooring is a wood-like tile, as it shows on the website pics. Problem was it was slick, I got up in the night to use the restroom and about fell on my a$$, and I was barefoot!

Decor is much nicer than the old rooms before the renovation. The deal breaker for me is the bed - it was a pillow top, but it was the hardest pillow top I've ever slept in. My shoulders hurt in the morning. At least the bed in my room was really hard, my assumption is they bought the same mattresses for all the renovated rooms.

the Flamingo is my fave, love the GO rooms, but was hoping I would like the Fab rooms more. Might try it again, but if the bed is that hard the next time, I will have to change rooms.

I will also note the bathrooms were not remodeled at all. There were some folks on the travel to Vegas forums who said their bathroom had a new coat of paint, mine did not. That said, although the bathrooms are old and small, mine was very clean (and I look!) and was just fine for me.

I stayed in one over NYE and can confirm pretty much everything dbueler has said. The bathroom in my room had not been touched either and beds were hard. They say that there are views but the other tower actually juts out and obstructs the fountains from the Fab rooms (at least from mine.) If you can book a Go room (esp Go Luxury) I would do that, but if not the Fab would be fine. The best part is that many times upgrades are available either at check-in or by an email about a week before hand.
I really like Flamingo too, but we prob won't be staying there again until the Linq construction is finished because of all the mess and bother along that stretch.
I appreciate everyone's reviews, thanks.
Lisa, never stayed in a Fab room. The wood floors are a turn off
for me! Stayed in a Go room once. Was pleasantly surprised.
The room was remodeled including the bathroom. Not bad!!
I book it again for March. A convenient location, reasonable
Diamond Lounge and the VP is no different than any other CET casino.

Thanks Judy, part of me wants to be adventurous and try somewhere new. Another part says, Flamingo, no way!
I'll walk across the street to Caesars DL.
Do the Fab Deluxe rooms have a coffeemaker and fridge like the Go Luxury rooms? Has anyone who has booked a Fab Deluxe room been offered an upgrade to the Go Luxury rooms for a small fee prior to arriving?
