First Time at Caesar's Palace

Got a great offer for Caesars in June . Normally we do MGM but can't beat the deal.We are low rollers regarding the gambling etc. Mostly visit LV for sun and shows. Couple of questions for those in the know.

1) We are early risers and need coffee as soon as we get up- any type of coffee bar that is open early I know they have food court but I think it opens lateer in the morning.

2) Parking- We usually rent car and do self park. Since this property is so big, is valet better?

3) Pool- Is it still really nice?
Coffee at the bar, near sportsbook, if real early in the morning. The pool is second to none. Mandalay Bay is more fun, but looking, Caesars is the best. IMO
Honestly I think the Caesars self park is one of the worst. Hard to find a park, hard to remember where you parked it and you have to walk a mile to get to the Augustus or Octavius tower with your bags. On the other hand I think the Valet is one of the best, especially if you are Diamond.
Great. Thanks for the info. Can't wait.

Valet is confusing and very busy (you have to walk across all lanes of cars to get to the pickup area), but it is still better than self parking. Self parking is sort of underground and kind of spookey.

We just got back. Stayed in the Palace tower. Self park wasnt bad. Just parked on the 5th floor (top) and it was easy to find everything. It really isnt that bad, but I agree it is a long way from the other towers. You will love the pools. Really look nice. Got the 3 days free each in Jan. and April, so we are going back as then too.
The pools are awesome and one of the nicest things about Caesar's. Augustus Tower rooms are really nice, too.

You might want to checck their website for operating hours of Munchbar and the Pastisserie. Both have coffee.

Make sure you get to the pools early if you want a lounger....they are really hard to come by even a couple of hours after opening on weekday mornings. I really enjoyed the pools but they were quite crowded so it takes a little planning if the pool is a big part of your trip.

Enjoy!

Great pool, but you had better bring your own coffee pot if you need coffee early.
We just returned from Vegas & stayed at Caesar's for 3 nites. We arived around 11:30 & were supposed to get an Augustus Tower room. We were able to get a room at that time in the Palace Tower & decided to check it out to see if we liked it. It was a renovated room, can't remember what they called it, but it was 1844. We really liked it. It had his & her restrooms with a shower between the bathrooms with 2 showerheads. It also had a 2 person jacuzzi. We really liked it, and we would ask for it if we stayed again.

The room has a Keurig coffeemaker. They charged $12 for 4 cups of coffee along with all those other goodies that a lot of rooms have. I'm sure the package also included creams & sugars. We went to a store & purchased our own 12 pack for around $9.00. I always carry packets of creams I had from prior hotels plus extra coffee & tea as well as cups. My husband drinks a lot of coffee.

We valet parked when we arrived & had our luggage brought to our room. We then parked in the garage which was probably closer than Valet to this tower. We parked near the elevators on the 3rd floor and was no problem every day.

They actually had 1 pool open which we could see from our window. People were actually swimming as the pool was heated. We had no desire as it would be really cool when you got out. We like sunshine when we get out of pools. Caesars does have lots of pools & hot tubs.

We enjoyed Caesar's, but it is just so huge to get around. We actually had not been through the Forum shops in years & could not believe the changes and expansion of it.

We stay at Southpoint a lot and like it the best in Vegas as we are avid VP players, and they have plenty of machines that are decent enough pay schedules for us as compared to much lower scales at Caesar's props. This time we had a 1 bedroom suite & it was wonderful.
