We just returned from Vegas & stayed at Caesar's for 3 nites. We arived around 11:30 & were supposed to get an Augustus Tower room. We were able to get a room at that time in the Palace Tower & decided to check it out to see if we liked it. It was a renovated room, can't remember what they called it, but it was 1844. We really liked it. It had his & her restrooms with a shower between the bathrooms with 2 showerheads. It also had a 2 person jacuzzi. We really liked it, and we would ask for it if we stayed again.
The room has a Keurig coffeemaker. They charged $12 for 4 cups of coffee along with all those other goodies that a lot of rooms have. I'm sure the package also included creams & sugars. We went to a store & purchased our own 12 pack for around $9.00. I always carry packets of creams I had from prior hotels plus extra coffee & tea as well as cups. My husband drinks a lot of coffee.
We valet parked when we arrived & had our luggage brought to our room. We then parked in the garage which was probably closer than Valet to this tower. We parked near the elevators on the 3rd floor and was no problem every day.
They actually had 1 pool open which we could see from our window. People were actually swimming as the pool was heated. We had no desire as it would be really cool when you got out. We like sunshine when we get out of pools. Caesars does have lots of pools & hot tubs.
We enjoyed Caesar's, but it is just so huge to get around. We actually had not been through the Forum shops in years & could not believe the changes and expansion of it.
We stay at Southpoint a lot and like it the best in Vegas as we are avid VP players, and they have plenty of machines that are decent enough pay schedules for us as compared to much lower scales at Caesar's props. This time we had a 1 bedroom suite & it was wonderful.
