First Time at Caesar's Palace

I am not certain, but I think the the "branch" of the Pailliard Patisserrie (I am sure I butchered the French spelling) that is right by the hotel front entrance is open 24 hours. I have gotten coffee there several times. A little later, after 8:00 am, I would reccommend sneaking into the Seven Stars/Diamond Registration area. They never ask any questions and there is a nice coffee/tea set up in there and free newspapers. They are usually pretty busy checking folks in and out. I was a diamond this past year--once in a lifetime probably, but I went in several times and no one paid any attention to me. I will check the coffee bar I mentioned by the front doors whe I go later this month & report back.
I strongly agree with the suggestion that you bring your own k-cups. You can buy them when you get to town. Target has a nice selection. Of course, there is always the old standby-spend $100 gambling while waiting for free coffee!
Finally got a reasonable offer to stay at Caesars so made the reservation for a room in Palace Tower in May. Planning on spending time at pool and any info is helpful. We don't rent a car, so parking is not an issue.
I'm wondering jhawkgirl if I've ever run into you at NKC.
I was there a lot last year because I was getting stuff done at my old house and used a ton of free nights. Now, not so much--moved to Kansas. If I am there, you will know it is me because I will be cursing my losses at the Hangover machines.
I understand that the new Hollywood Casino has had lines for folks to get it.
