First time to stay at Cromwell

I have heard that in the past, the Cromwell is terribly noisy from a nightclub and also from the street entertainers on the bridge.  Is this still a factor?  We are only staying at Cromwell on a Sunday night.  What is the best room to ask for if quiet is a priority? Thanks!

Only stayed there once long ago when it was Barbary Coast.

Just be prepared for the very small, as in almost too small to turn around in, bathroom.

Probably was before the era of street entertainers.

It was a lovely big room, big four-poster bed with big comfy bedspread, felt like we were in the Long Branch Saloon (as in "Gunsmoke").

Another good thing was the elevator from the rooms, though SLOW, opened right into the casino.  Great for those who don't like the walking necessary at the big places.

Maybe  (probably) they have remodeled since we were there.  Good luck, have fun!

I'm just pleased to know that there are folks left who still reference Gunsmoke...in any fashion. I've heard (never stayed there) that the noise from Drai's nightclub on the Cromwell rooftop is an issue but I have no experienced specifics.

Yes, the rooms are small...but they are very nicely appointed.   They were charing over $300/night when they first opened.    That didnt stick.

Drai's is not a night club....its an "after hours" club.   That means the pary doesnt even get started until 1:00AM

Fremont St will keep you up till midnight.  Drais will keep you up until 6:00AM.
