Flamingo GO room or Deluxe room at Rio?

How do these two rooms compare? I've stayed many times at the Rio, and am happy with the room size. I have a chance to stay in a GO room at the Flamingo instead. Anyone have any thoughts?
I would choose the GO room myself. Not as large as the Rio rooms, but the Rio is pretty tired. and I much prefer being on the strip. What are your priorities, location? room size? recent renovation? amenities?
I love the GO rooms because of how it is decorated - white, kind of pastel, with a modern look. I'm pleased with the RIO rooms too, because of their size, their little sitting area and especially the refrigerator in the room.

My next stay, I'm staying in the GO room.
Mix it up, stay in the GO room.

Thanks for your replies! I am planning to play in the WSOP again this summer, so a room at the Rio is just convenient. The last 3 years I never really had a chance to use any of the amenities at the Rio or the Flamingo. You're right though, staying on the Strip is a big plus. I'll be renting a car for the week. Is the Flamingo Pool better than the Rio's? Are the bedding, linens and toiletries they use in the GO rooms the same as the ones they put in the regular rooms? Are the GO rooms large enough to accomodate an extra cot if needed?
I am pretty sure the toiletrie in the GO rooms are upgraded. And I know the bedding is. I don't know what towels they use in the regular rooms.

It should be big enough to accommodate a cot.
Now that you've mentioned playing in WSOP? I'd stay at Rio in Ipanema Tower. (Not Mardi Gras)

If you have Late nights, your room is right down the hall. That would be my choice for wsop Time.

If I wasn't playing in wsop? THEN I'd choose GO.
Luv LUV LUV the Go rooms! Rio rooms have been decent to me in the past, but the GO rooms are sooo cool. Luv the linens in the Go rooms as well, and I'm admittedly a linen diva. And yes, plenty of room for a cot, you can just move the small couch around to accomodate. I was in a 2 bed GO room just a couple of weeks ago.

That said, CLV has a good point, not so fun to drive back and forth all the time. The last time I was at the Rio during WSOP (as a spectator, of course) the parking was impossible.
I, myself, have booked a GO room @ Flamingo for this Feb trip. I'm interested in staying here. I've never been into HET resorts or their hotel rooms, but these rooms look great. Plus, no resort fee.
My one complaint with the GO rooms is the lack of privacy when in the bathroom. There is a glass sliding door and if anyone else in the room with you they can hear what's happening in the bathroom. That being said, I would still prefer the location and the comfy bed in the GO rooms, versus the Rio Impanema tower.

Considering you're there for the WSOP, I would still suggest the Rio. More than enough room for a cot and way more convenient for you.

Hope this helps you with your decision making. Oh, plus you can charge your bill at Margaritaville to your room if you're staying at Flamingo (and hopefully pay with RCSs). I guess it really depends on how much you would mind driving to the Rio daily for the tournament.
