Free Cruise from Harrah's - Anyone ever do this?

Thanks to all for the information.
Just got back from our cruise and THOROUGHLY enjoyed it.
We got a mailer in Dec 2009 that we had to pickup our certificate at Caesars LV in January- got 3 free nights at Caesars on MLK holiday weekend too (I am Platinum).
Our offer was a 7 night cruise anywhere Norwegian went for 2 persons in an outside cabin (others picking up certificates had 4 nights or inside cabins, etc so I was happy with my offer)
Living in LA, we chose the easy cruise of the Mexican Riviera leaving from Long Beach 25 miles from home.
We paid the port/taxes total $451 for 2 persons and upgraded to balcony for $400 for the cabin (well worth it)
Upon entering our cabin, we had a plate of cookies compliments of Casinos at Sea along with players cards for the casino with an attached "free drinks" card which we used ALOT over the next week (much to the jealousy of other casino players who had to pay).
On night #2 there was a bottle of good champagne (might have been cheap but it tasted quite good) in the cabin from Casino at Sea.
At the end of the cruise we joined our points and applied $36 credit towards our account.
All in all it was a painless, wonderful cruise with not one glitch the entire way!
Thank you Harrahs! Ready for my next one
Thnaks for a "cruise report" sounds like it was really nice.

I'm sure not going to discard my cruise offer this year if it's offered.

I have a pile that all offers go into and they never, ever get thrown out until after the date. Never know when plans would change at last minute.

I just got my first cruise offer out of NOLA for 7 nights...saw it online but no mailer in hand. It appears to come with 2 nights in NOLA + $450 cash to apply to port fees and taxes. So, this sounds like a cruise for two right, even though it doesn't specify...but looking at how much fees are, it seems to fit the bill.

ANYWHO...we don't have passports because we don't really travel internationally...when I worked for NCL I could swing by with my birth cert and IDs... OH WELL...
We got our passports just for this trip on the Alaska cruise because it does stop in one port in Canada.

If we ever get another offer, at least we will have the documentation ready!

Joy
I saw the New Orleans offer for a free cruise on line after reading dantex note.
Paul and I both have an offer. Mine for an outside cabin and Paul for a balcony cabin. Both are plus the $450.
The two nights are for a trip to Nola to pick up the package offer.
Actual cruise is the Caribean in November and December.
We picked Dec 5.
I'm jealous of ALL of you!

I love to Cruise, and my offers say...........just like the Soup Nazi...........NO CRUISE FOR YOU!

I got the same offer from Harrah's NOLA. I'm thinking about it and was also wondering if it is for two people. My offer states balcony cabin guaranteed.
You have the same offer as Paul.
My actual offer came in the mail on Friday, Paul's has yet to arrive.
The offer says
"Please have all necessary booking information available for your NCL representative. (Passenger NAMES, date of birth, and credit card for booking upgrades)
Your cruise vacation will be aboard the Norwegian Spirit sailing out of New Orleans to Exoctic Western Caribbean with ports of call including Cozumel and Belize City.

Reserve your cruise date from a choice of the following three sailings
November 7-14
November 28- December 5
December 5 - December 12
