Free Flight Offer

Got an interesting offer from CET. They would pick me and wife up at Nashville, fly us to Tunica and give us 3 nights...all for $20 each. Included 2 free buffets. I'm really a low low roller at CET and was surprised to get the offer. We figured it out time wise and it ended up being the same as driving, so the only savings was gas. Taking too many gambling trips already this year, so passed it up.

Got another nice offer too. Free cruise, with numerous choices (3, 4 and 7 day ones), if I showed up on a certain date down in Biloxi. Looked pretty good, but we've already got a cruise booked.

I think CET is hurting OR they're trying to boost attendance in case they want to sell a property in the future. Makes them look good to a perspective buyer (total speculation on my part regarding their desire to sell). I've been getting offers to fly out of Grand Rapids and Flint (I live in Lansing, MI) to go to Tunica and Atlantic City. Usually the same sort of offer as you listed. I have never taken them up on an offer, either. The real draw back to the cruises are that they're not very expensive cruises being offered and I vaguely remember not having the cost of airfare covered to the destination city. Well, the flight from Lansing to destination city was as muc, or more, than the "free cruise" is I purchased it from the cruise company.
