Sun-Thurs, five nights at the end of August, total with tax, $96. All sorts of possible upcharges, but you don't have to bite.
They apparently don't even ask to see your LVA coupon--your checkin is at an automated kiosk anyway. I can attest that the older tower rooms are kind of worn out and the newer ones are nicer and closer to the casino. But still--if you want to visit Vegas during Inferno Month (August), this will save you a good chunk of change. Plan on eating elsewhere, as the food is insanely expensive. My guess is that's what they're hoping, since it's kind of hard to get out of there and go somewhere else--you'll shrug and say, well, we saved on the room. But I'm damned if I'm going to pay $42 for a bowl of noodles.
The gambling is semi-decent, with the usual high-mininun shitjack and 9/6 JOB VP. Not a bad home base. Free parking.
