Got the $1200 from the Great Race now what?

Do they expire after 6 months? I don't remember reading about an expiration date.
This is probably a painfully dumb question, but how can reward credits be used for an airline tickets? I'd love to do that.
Expiration date?

Heres my answer from other Great Race thread:
There seems to be No difference in added RC points.
Since they were just Added to your other RC's, I'm expecting them to be treated the same.

Airline Travel?

Look at the Rewards catalog area on the CE website. Theres a way to book airline thru CE.
If I don't forget, will put link here, lol, otherwise Log on and poke around the website.
Thanks CLV. I poked around & found a notation that airfare was available starting at 20,000 RC, but couldn't find a link giving specific destination details or how to book using RC. I'm a TR dummy when it comes to using credits.

According to my mom, at Ak-Chin, one can use their points to buy Shell gift cards. They plan to use her hubby's points for gas and hers for food.

I've talked to several people and then actually called Caesars Passport Travel (CPT) on how to do this. First, you have to go to a Total Reward Center at whatever casino you wish. Have your desired amount of reward credits converted over to airline credits for CPT (20K per $100 airfare). Next call CPT with your travel plans and dates. They will book your travel and use the credits that you have converted as cash toward purchase. Any remaining credits will be lost, and remaining balance you pay via credit cards. This goes down as a cash transaction with the airline so you will receive FF points. We are going to fly Southwest so we will received Rapid Reward credits.

I've never done this, so it is just based off of conversations with those who have and with CPT customer service.

Hope that helps.

I only did this because I ended up with over $1000 in rc's, I travel solo so I don't use very many rc's on my trips to Vegas (and don't ever use any in STL because my rooms are comped and the diamond lounge food is very good).

Great promo!

From what I gathered, since my wife and I both have 60,000 points we could turn this into $600 cash correct?
It's actual cash and not FREE play correct?

I had read on another forum that these were going to be "promo" credits and that they would not allow us to turn them into cash, but from what I now see they are making no distinction between these and any other CR points.

We are close to Kansas City and I believe that they too allow the 2 for 1 cash in. Instead of using them for airfare at the same 2 to 1 ratio, it would be better just to convert it over into cash first, then I can make my own travel plans.

This is most helpful - thanks!

Does anyone know if Kansas City will let you convert the rcs to cash? If so, how is it done? Thanks, Lisa
Yes you can turn in your Reward Credits for cash in KC. 200 Reward Credits = $1
