Great Race in New Orleans

Wouldn't it be nice if they extended the race at Harrahs in New Orleans? They were closed for a few days and so some people couldn't get their 25 points. It would be nice for us because we'll be there October 5. I would love to get another stop.

I agree with this completely. Airfares skyrocketed for New Orleans, Little Rock, St. Louis, and Kansas City several weeks ago, and haven't come down since, making flights out of the question. If they extended it into October, we might have a chance to take a few trips (provided the airfares come down again).

Anyway, it's great to see so many people legitimately making the trips and earning the points, rather than "scamming the Harrah's system" (quote from SD).

759kl40, I know that feeling. I was in NOLA the week before the Great Race started and will be in Atlantic City the week after it ends.

Wasn't a lot of time for people that aren't retired to make plans. Would be fun road trip if time allowed. I feel bad for those on the west coast. I wish it would start the beginning of June and go through September. It would be nice to extend NO under the circumstances- doubt that will happen. Good luck and safe travels all.
