Harrahs Joliet selling off?

I hear a rumor last night that Caesars is thinking of selling Joliet because they're not making money (can't see that by my losses). anyone else heard little things about this? I'm posting this also on the east of missisippi side. It could be just a rumor. I would think they wouldn't want to get out of this market, buy maybe the other boats are luring people away? I hope it's not the no-smoking causing this.
I have not heard this. As a visitor to both of the Joliet casino's, I see a definate drop off in attendance. Combine this with the no-smoking law, and the high tax the state of Illinois charges the casino's, and it wouldn't surprise me one bit if Harrah's sold it.
Well in my opinion it is their own fault. I really prefer to play in Hammond mostly because they have more penny slots and a better selection. I can't play CLUE in Joliet, I can't play SuperTeam in Joliet. And the others like Michael Jackson, Ghostbusters are 2cent machines, when I can play them for a penny in Hammond. If they would cut down on the 2cent machines and have a few pennies, they might see an increase.

I forgot the Hollywood casino down the street has ones like Elvis, Breakfast at Tiffanys and has more pennies. I also seem to not win much at Harrahs, but I do win more at Hollywood in Joliet and Hammond.
