Harrah's reservation

Just made a reservation at harrah's checking in june 2 checking out june 9 they charged me 40.00 for the first day, comped me the next 5 days the last day they charged me 270.00 I was surprised the rate was so high the last day, this far in advance. has anyone else had this happen?

The weekend of the 8th is the Electric Daisy Carnival. Rates are stupid high. Cheapest I can get is $150 at IP....other HET properties all show up at $300 plus per night for me.

Check closer to your trip for a better price on that last night.

Can you change the reservation to pay for the first
2 nites and get comped the remainder? Better to get
comped on the most expensive nights and pay for the
cheaper nites. . . . just sayin' . . . .

I just made reservations for Harrah's New Orleans over the phone. I was informed that if none of the nights were comped there would be a 10 dollar service charge added to my reservations. Has any one else had this notice or is it only for phone calls? I did get a night comped during Mardi Gras but the rates go to over $330 a night by the weekend.

The service charge is just for phone reservations to the best of my knowledge. Never charged it with online reservations...only last year when I needed assistance via phone folks.
