Harrahs St Louis

Going there next week. Its been awhile for this location.

Any tips on deals/things to do/benefits at this location. Can you tell me anything about Diamond benefits as well?

Thanks

Some of the best video poker!
I was going to say, of ANY Harrah's properties that I've been too they are the only one's that had any video poker really worth playing. My wife and I love this place!

Please drop us a line , when you return, about what was interesting. I think I am adding this on my road trip for the Great Race. I have to pay for a room bummer but looks like some fun stuff to do.

I was there last weekend - great weekend - one of their best properties - very sad they sold it off. Did very well on super times and spin poker.
This was one of our stops last year on the Great Race. Still receiving offers of 3 nights/week throughout this entire summer. They have always been generous with their offers....will be sadly missed.
One of the better Diamond Lounges!!

What do they provide (Diamond Lounge)? Drinks, food, ??

When I have been there, they have had the standard "buffet" area with chips/nuts/cookies/carrots, etc. BUT they have someone come around to your table and they have had sandwich options (last trip with roast beef sandwich au jus) that are freshly made and good. Bar with good booze. Used to be free for diamond, but last trip they asked if was GM.
The diamond lounge changed since Sandypaws was there happened a couple of months ago, and not for the better unfortunately. They now have a menu service with apps, salads, and sandwiches. You can choose one item OR a half of two different choices. So... a whole sandwich (comes with chips) OR a half salad and half sandwich, etc...

The food is free as well as soft drinks, they charge for alcohol due to Mo state law requiring this. The cost is nominal, I think a buck for a beer. You can use TR points to pay for drinks.

The salad bar with the cheese & crackers & other snack foods is loooong gone. It's a shame as the sandwiches aren't that large and it would be nice to have a salad bar to go along with them.

However, if you like french dips and blue cheese, they have a hot sandwich, the beef & blue, that is absolutely to die for. Never any fat at all, meltingly tender, the au jus is outstanding, love the blue cheese on it. No question the best sandwich I've ever had and I order it every time!

It is a really nice diamond lounge, although downgraded from before. They used to have the best fried chicken dinner ever on Sunday nights, we were quite spoiled!
