Has anyone been to Harrahs Tahoe recently?

baccarat_guy how was seating assigned for your wife and daughters flights? Should I make a request through the Harrahs Northern Nevada Air staff for an aisle seat?

Flights were on WN (Southwest); I did check them in at T-24hours and they got an A-Group boarding pass.
Thanks, I'll call the Harrah's group on Monday just to be sure they don't have anything to do with the seating. Then I'm going to look for that app for southwest, I hope it's available for android also.

I knew I should have checked my spelling, baccarat 2 cs, not 2 rs. Sorry.

Southwest check-in is rather straight forward, if that is the airline you are flying on. Since these are group reservations; it brought up everyone in the group (when I entered the last name and record locator), and I just selected my wife and her friend to check-in. If you are flying on an airline other than Southwest (which is open seating), you should try to get seat assignments.

I spend my life dealing with 'flying stuff'.... wife departs BOS-FRA-BCN-MUC-BUD-MUC-IST-MUC-BOS for her trip over the next week+. (and, yes, I'll be checking her in online with Lufthansa for the BOS-FRA-BCN initial flights...)
Thank you, it is suppose to be Southwest, so I might try the Early Bird check-in, although per Southwest I have to wait until I get the confirmation number. By that time EB may be back in section C. Well a free flight is a free flight and it's only an hour and a half nonstop LAX to Reno with a free shuttle ride up to Tahoe.

In my experience you can't do Early Bird on a group reservation (since everyone on the reservation has the same confirmation number).

I really wouldn't stress over a LAX-RNO flight; in our case, I did the check-in right at 24 hours, since BOS-DEN continuing to RNO was 6 hours due to winter winds. On flights of less than 2 hours, Early Bird is a waste, IMO. I ONLY use Early Bird on my nonstop MHT-LAS flights which are 5-6 hours (depending on direction). I never use it for the MHT-BWI/PHL flights which are in the approximately 1 hour range.
